What separates good PPF installers from great ones? In Here’s The Deal EP 3, we sit down with Cole Perkins during Geoshield’s PPF Month to talk advanced installs, real craftsmanship, training, marketing, and what it actually takes to level up as an installer.

With a Ferrari sitting in the shop, this episode opens the door to a bigger conversation about the difference between making an install look good for Instagram and making an install that actually lasts. We talk about disassembly, invisible edges, knowing when “too far” is too far, and why the best installers understand the balance between beauty, protection, and long-term durability.

We also get into advice for newer installers trying to break into PPF, how to put in the reps, when to start taking real customers, and why your website, SEO, and educational content can become one of the strongest tools in your business.

Geoshield isn’t just here to sell film. We’re here to build better installers, better shops, and a stronger community around tint and PPF.

We’ll also be at Film Fest in Atlanta this May, with Geoshield instructors, students, and dealers competing across multiple categories. Come see us, meet the crew, and be part of what we’re building.
