A proposito di questo titolo
First and foremost, we must hear the Word of God. Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It’s essential to immerse ourselves in scripture, allowing God’s truth to penetrate our hearts.
Next, we need to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. John 3:16 reminds us that God gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. This belief is foundational; it’s the bedrock of our faith.
Once we believe, we must repent of our sins. Repentance means turning away from our wrongdoings and making a conscious decision to follow Christ. Acts 3:19 encourages us to repent and turn to God so that our sins may be wiped out.
Confession follows repentance. We must openly confess that Jesus is Lord. Romans 10:9 states that if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This confession is a powerful declaration of our faith.
Baptism through immersion in water is the next step. In Acts 2:38, Peter said to repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Baptism symbolizes our identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
Finally, we must live faithfully and share this message until our last breath. Our journey doesn’t end with baptism; it’s a lifelong commitment to walk in faith and obedience.
Join us next time as we explore more about salvation and living out our faith!
