What does neuro-inclusive actually mean? And why does it matter in the dog world?
In this conversation, I'm talking about what neuro-inclusivity means to me and why I believe we need to stop expecting everybody to think, learn, communicate and experience the dog world in exactly the same way.
I'll also be talking about why neuro-inclusivity isn't about lowering standards or expecting less from people. Different doesn't mean less capable - sometimes people simply need a different route to get where they're going.
And, of course, I'll be talking about the dogs!
Because the person and the dog aren't separate from each other. Both ends of the lead are having their own experience, and supporting the human can be an important part of supporting the dog too.
