🎙️ We're back! After a short hiatus, MoodSwings returns with a topic that's creating major controversy in our hometown of Pittsburg, California.
A proposed data center has residents asking some tough questions:
- What exactly is a data center?
- Why was Pittsburg chosen?
- Who approved the project?
- What are the real benefits?
- What are the potential risks for nearby neighborhoods?
In this episode, Jae and KMac break down the technology behind data centers, why companies are building them across the country, and why so many Pittsburg residents are voicing concerns. We discuss the potential economic benefits, environmental impacts, water and power usage, noise concerns, property values, and what this could mean for the future of our hometown.
Whether you're for it, against it, or simply trying to understand both sides, this episode gives you the information you need to join the conversation.
💬 What do YOU think? Would you welcome a data center in your neighborhood? Let us know in the comments.
