Parking was a mess, the stands were packed, and the Holy War energy showed up hours before kickoff. We take you inside St. Thomas More vs Teurlings with the details that actually explain the result: STM’s run-first identity, a veteran offensive line that controls the night, and how a sophomore quarterback can look calm when the trenches do the heavy lifting. We also hand out the Perfect Fits Game of the Week MVP and our first Hog of the Week because football still starts up front in Acadiana.

Then we widen the lens to the rest of Acadiana high school sports with the performances that jumped off the page in Week 1 and the tools that make following it easier. We talk Grudge Power Sports Athlete of the Week, shout out the biggest scorelines, and share why the AcadianaSportsNetwork.com live scoreboard matters when you want local Louisiana prep football results without digging through the whole state.

Coach Sarah Landreanu joins us to break down the Acadiana Area High School Swim League from the ground up: meet event order, how many events a swimmer can enter, what the regular season schedule looks like, and how district meets and the Top 16 regional feed into state qualifying times in Sulphur. We keep the fall tour going with volleyball and cross country, including the First Touch Award and the Pack Award, then we turn the page to Week 2 with our Game of the Week preview and the Dr. Luke St. Pierre Pick’em from Notre Dame vs Church Point all the way to Saints vs Lions.
