When distance goes too far!
it's near impossible for bands and artists to have a start to end run of amazing albums, there's always going to be a stumble.
Pink Floyd spend the 70s releasing some of rock music's biggest impacting albums, However by the early 80s it seemed like they had ran out of steam and ran out of patience with each other. The Final Cut 1983 is the perfect example of a messy break up and a inability to work together. Years on it's probably Floyd's most unrecognised albums, but does that make it underrated?
Radiohead are well known to push out the boat and have been afraid to step out the comfort zone. Their early work is peak alternative rock, however after the massive success of OK Computer something seemed to snap with Tom Yorke. The band has gone out their way to distance themselves from being know as a 'rock band', Sometimes it lands perfectly with their 2007 album In Rainbows but their follow up album may have pushed the boat out too far?
Join me and Mike as we look at both bands, their careers and backgrounds with each album as we decide if they are Weak or Peak!
