The friends take a cue from modern Hollywood, and release a sequel to their last episode. Sort of. This week, they're talking about Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the follow-up to the 2019 movie they just talked about on the 2026 podcast episode. They also talk about plenty of other stuff before getting there - can you tell our hosts both have serious ADD?

SPOILERS for the movie in the last segment of the pod, but there's plenty of warning before it happens.

In what is easily the friends' most timely discussion choice yet, Jess and Gill record an episode right before the Oscars discussing the 2019 horror film Ready or Not! Jess finally watches a movie that Gill has been asking them to watch for literal years, and makes some potentially unwarranted comparisons! Gill turns heel! Is it the best episode of We Saw a Movie yet? How can you know if you don't listen?!?!?!

This whole episode is basically SPOILERS, so if you haven't seen Ready or Not, watch that first, then come back to us. It's fine, we can wait.

The friends took a week off (and ONLY a week), which was apparently just enough time for Jess to forget how to properly record their levels, giving this episode a lovely blown-out sound. After talking about how unremarkable they found the end of 2025, the gang actuallly dives into a movie that's still in theaters for once - the Gore Verbinski-directed fever dream Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die!

SPOILERS for the movie in the second half of the pod, but there's plenty of warning before it happens.
