We're back after a brief hiatus and diving right back into the darkness with Jerry's choice, Strange Harvest (2024) from director Stuart Oritz. A "mock-doc" with fantastic visuals and a compelling cosmic horror storyline, Strange Harvest is a little-known gem that wants to be seen! From there, Jason introduced one of the many films heavily influenced by Seven in the 90s, the wildly entertaining and downright wild Resurrection (1999).

Join us this month for generational trauma and wildly unhinged hallucinations! We Own the Dark dives headfirst into two films that are heartbreaking and brutal but definitely elicits that ol' "good for her" feeling. Jason chose first with Matt Cimber's The Witch Who Came From the Sea (1976) to which Jerry paired Mike Flanagan's Gerald's Game (2017). These two films tell unique and rich stories of the desperation and often bleak nature of survival.
