When Jada Yuan was chosen to be the New York Times’ 52 Places Traveler she was shocked and excited. I mean, who wouldn’t be?! The chosen traveller would get to visit 52 places on the paper’s Best Places to Travel in 2018 list in one year. There would be a lot of eating, a lot of adventure and a lot of alone time–after all, she’d be travelling by herself.

Jada is back from her whirlwind journey around the globe and she’s had some time to reflect on everything she saw. She’s also become a bonafide expert on travelling solo. This week Mo asks her to break down the logistics of solo travel and share some of her favourite stories from the year abroad.
