The Monks walking for peace from Austin Texas to Washing DC. Why is it when we see them on social media, the news, photos and in person, we cry and feel so moved. Some of the spiritual meaning my guides gave me to talk about and how we are watching history happen on this planet. How the Monks represent Love and Peace walking among us. It is within them and through the Clarity of their example they are helping us remember who we are.
Blessings, and light

The Poem I wrote Today is Going to be my Peaceful day
Monks walk with hearts in hand,
From Texas plains to D.C.’s grace,
A sacred pilgrimage, a healing space.
With their Dog Aloka leading the way, loyal and true,
His love unwavering, through skies so blue,
Aloka's Rest days in the camper, he resists the ease,
Longing to walk, to breathe, to feel the breeze.
Today is going to be my peaceful day,
A mantra of calm, a gentle way,
To anchor the soul, to soften the mind,
Today is going to be my peaceful day.
The head monk, barefoot on the road,
Challenging himself, embracing the ode—
To be fully present, in each step, each breath,
In mindfulness, finding life’s true depth.
Today is going to be my peaceful day,
A whisper of serenity on the way,
In silent prayer, in mindful sway,
Today is going to be my peaceful day.
In Texas, a moment etched in pain,
A brother struck, a sacrifice, a gain—
Losing a leg, yet accepting with grace,
A symbol of courage, a divine embrace.
Their walk sends ripples across the earth,
Transforming energy to planet earth, giving new birth—
A mindful meditation, in motion’s flow,
Changing the world, as love begins to grow.
Today is going to be my peaceful day,
A sacred vow to light the way,
In every step, in every breath,
Today is going to be my peaceful day.
They’ve known suffering, like shadows cast,
But through this walk, they’re healing the past,
With every step, they reclaim their light,
Breath by breath, through day and night.
Forgiveness blooms in every stride,
For ourselves, for others, with love as guide,
A gentle reminder—the walls of our heart start to fall,
When we see love walking among us, standing so tall.
Why do we ask ourselves when we see the monks, why do we cry?
Because we are reminded of hope, compassion, and love still exists
Tears may flow when we witness their way,
A reminder of who we are today—
Divine Love’s gentle whisper, a sacred key,
That opens our hurt hearts, and sets us free.
Today is going to be my peaceful day,
A prayer we carry along the way,
Love walks among us, always near—
Today is going to be my peaceful day.
