  • When Loving Your Neighbor Is the Hardest Thing - Let's Talk
    Nov 4 2026

Loving your neighbor sounds simple until your neighbor is the one pushing every button you have — and this week, Annie and DJB get honest about what that actually looks like in real life.

Annie opens up about wearing her emotions on her face without realizing it, and what Proverbs 15:1 is teaching her about self-control.

DJB shares what happened when a boss who took credit for his work and gaslit him finally pushed him to a breaking point — and what he did that weekend after.

Together they unpack Romans 12:17-21, Matthew 5:44, and why self-control is the fruit of the Spirit that makes all the others possible.

For anyone who's ever had to choose grace in a moment when the last thing they felt like giving was grace.

  • Devotional: More Than Words
    Nov 3 2026

Have you ever heard a song that takes you back to a particular time in your life? One of my favorite songs from 1990 is More Than Words. And as I was reflecting on God's Word, I couldn't help but think about how fitting that title is for today's devotional. You see, love is more than simply saying the words "I love you." It's demonstrated through our time, our actions, our commitment, and how we show up for someone. And I believe the same is true of our relationship with God.John 1:1 says:"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 119:11:"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."There's something so personal and intimate about that verse.Think about someone you love deeply. You think about them, remember the things they say, replay special moments, and look forward to spending time with them. That's how I want my relationship with God to be. I want to be so immersed in His presence and so familiar with His Word that His truth becomes part of who I am.And here's something beautiful to consider: God invites us into that kind of relationship with Him.The Bible isn't simply a collection of stories or a list of rules. It's a beautiful love story of God's faithfulness, mercy, and love for humanity.John 3:16 reminds us that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him would have everlasting life. What a beautiful expression of love! And here's something I want you to think about:It's one thing to know the Word, but it's another thing to know the One who is the Word.God isn't inviting us to simply turn pages; He's inviting us into a relationship with Him.So don't just read the Bible to check off a box. Spend time with it. Meditate on it. Hide it in your heart. Let it encourage you, challenge you, and change you.Because our relationship with God is about more than words. It's about knowing Him, loving Him, and allowing that love to transform how we live.More than words on a page. More than words we speak. It's about knowing Him, loving Him, and living out His Word every day.#MoreThanWords #KnowTheWordKnowHim #LiveHisWord #WalkAndTalkFaith #GodIsOnTheAirGod is ON AIR and so are we!~~~~For business purposes, please email us at walkandtalkfaith@gmail.com~~~~Music CreditSong: SeasonsArtist: TelecastedYouTube Audio Library

  • Devotional: Equipped - You're More Prepared
    Oct 27 2026

2 Timothy 3:16-17Have you ever prepared for something, studied everything you were supposed to know, and still found yourself worrying about whether you were ready?I experienced this firsthand recently. Over the past five weeks, I've been training for my new role, learning our company's systems, policies, procedures, and how to provide excellent customer service. We learned the importance of actively listening to our customers, showing empathy, and properly documenting our conversations. I had trainers walking me through the process, and I knew my supervisor and manager would be available to help when we went live.Yet, over the weekend, I became so anxious that I made myself sick to my stomach. I kept wondering, What if I forget the steps? What if I don't know what to say? What if I miss something important? Even though I had spent weeks preparing, I was worried I wouldn't be able to put what I'd learned into practice. Then today came. I was able to speak with both parties involved, gather the information I needed, and do what I had been trained to do. Yes, my trainers offered some guidance, but with those first contacts, I began to feel more confident. And I realized something: I was more prepared than I thought I was.Isn't that sometimes how we approach our walk with God?We spend time reading the Bible, learning His promises, growing in our faith, and listening to the wisdom of others. But when we face a real-life situation, we can become overwhelmed by anxiety. We wonder whether we'll know what to do, what to say, or how to respond when someone needs us.Yet, 2 Timothy 3:16–17 reminds us that Scripture teaches us, corrects us, and trains us in righteousness so that we can be equipped for every good work.Think about that word: equipped. When we read God's Word, we're not simply collecting Bible verses or gaining knowledge. We're allowing God to shape our hearts, renew our minds, and teach us how to live. We learn what love looks like, how to extend grace, how to forgive, how to respond with patience, and how to seek wisdom when we don't have all the answers. But here's something important: knowing the Word and applying the Word are two different things. We can read about patience, but we discover how much we need it when someone tests our patience. We can read about forgiveness, but we learn to walk it out when someone hurts us. We can read about trusting God, but that trust is tested when we step into the unknown. And just like my first day handling a claim, sometimes we don't realize how much we've learned until we have an opportunity to put it into practice.

We need prayer, the Holy Spirit's guidance, God's Word, and the wisdom and encouragement of other believers.Philippians 4:6–7 reminds us to bring our anxieties to God in prayer and trust Him for the peace that guards our hearts and minds. And Joshua 1:9 reminds us to be strong and courageous because God is with us wherever we go.So, maybe you're facing a new season right now. Maybe you're starting a new job, navigating a difficult relationship, making a big decision, or stepping into something God has placed on your heart. Perhaps you've spent time preparing, praying, studying, and seeking wisdom, but now that the moment has arrived, you're questioning whether you're ready.Stay close to Him. Keep reading His Word. Put what you learn into practice. Ask for help when you need it, and trust Him to guide you through what comes next.Sometimes confidence comes after we begin, not before. And sometimes we discover that God has been preparing us all along for the very moment we were so afraid to face.#EquippedByGod #FaithOverFear #PreparedForHisPurpose #WalkAndTalkFaith #GodIsOnTheAirGod is ON AIR and so are we!~~~~For business purposes, please email us at walkandtalkfaith@gmail.com~~~~Music CreditSong: SeasonsArtist: TelecastedYouTube Audio Library

  • Devotional: On And Off The Field
    Oct 13 2026

Acts 4:13 (NIV)“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”In baseball, there's a saying: How you conduct yourself on the field should be the same as how you conduct yourself off the field. On the field, we expect players to give their best effort, respect their teammates, listen to their managers, and respect the umpires—even when they disagree with a call. But that character shouldn't disappear when they leave the field. How they treat others when the game is over matters just as much as how they play during the game. The same is true of our walk with Jesus. In Acts 4:13, Peter and John stood before the Jewish religious leaders after healing a man who couldn't walk. The leaders were astonished because Peter and John were ordinary, uneducated men, yet they spoke with boldness and courage. And the leaders recognized something important: these men had been with Jesus.Peter and John had spent years learning from Jesus, watching how He loved people, served others, and stood firm in the truth. Even after Jesus ascended into heaven, His influence was evident in how they lived and spoke. They didn't take off their faith when they left His presence. Their lives reflected the time they had spent with Him.And that's our challenge today. It's easy to talk about Jesus at church, worship with other believers, and share our faith when things are going well. But what happens when a coworker frustrates us, someone treats us unfairly, or we don't get our way? Do we still show patience, humility, integrity, and respect?Following Jesus isn't just about what we say we believe. It's about how we live when nobody's watching. That doesn't mean we'll be perfect. Just like a baseball player will strike out sometimes, we'll make mistakes. What matters is how we respond—with humility, a willingness to make things right, and a heart that continues to grow. So, here's something to think about: If people watched how you conducted yourself at work, at home, and in public, would they recognize that you've been with Jesus?Your faith isn't just how you play on Sunday. It's how you live every day. Let the way you conduct yourself on and off the field show the world that you've been with Jesus.#OnAndOffTheField #Acts413 #DoesYourLifeReflectJesus #WalkAndTalkFaith #GodIsOnTheAirGod is ON AIR and so are we!~~~~For business purposes, please email us at walkandtalkfaith@gmail.com~~~~Music CreditSong: SeasonsArtist: TelecastedYouTube Audio Library
