  • Season 3 Premiere, Becoming the Be Attitude
    May 13 2026

In this heartfelt Season 3 opening teaser for Walk With Me Mom: From Burnout to Balance, the host shares her personal journey as a mother raising two children with autism—one nonverbal with multiple disabilities and one with autism and ADHD. She moves from exhaustion and frustration to greater peace by shifting her focus from trying to change her children to transforming herself.

This season introduces the Be Attitudes—six gentle guiding principles that became her roadmap out of burnout and into deeper connection and presence with her children.

What to Expect in Season 3

Each full episode will explore one Be Attitude in depth, focusing on real-life application rather than checklists or quick fixes. Episodes will address:

    • The messy, hard days (meltdowns, exhaustion, sensory challenges)
    • The tender, beautiful moments
    • How these mindset shifts soften your heart, ease pressure, and build authentic connection
    • Practical ways to move from reactivity and burnout toward presence and balance

Season 3 Premiere: Be Aware — Coming next week. This foundational episode explores slowing down to truly see your child with love instead of fear or control.

    Key Message

“It was never about changing who they needed to be. It was about who I needed to become.”

  • 26|Navigating Public Meltdowns: It Wasn’t the Playground—It Was the Week
    Apr 15 2026

    Episode Summary

In the Season 2 finale of Walk With Me Mom: From Burnout to Balance, we dive deep into one of the most challenging and misunderstood parts of parenting an autistic child: public meltdowns.

Through a vulnerable personal story, I share how what looked like a sudden meltdown at our favorite playground was actually the result of a full week of hidden stress, sensory overload, testing, appointments, and nonstop output — for both my son and me. This episode explores why meltdowns often aren’t about the moment itself, and how shifting from blame to understanding can change everything.

If you’ve ever felt blindsided by a meltdown in public and wondered “What just happened?” — this episode is for you. You’re not alone, and you didn’t cause it.

    Main Takeaways:

    • Most public meltdowns aren’t really about the playground (or store, or event) — they’re about the week leading up to it.
    • Your child isn’t being “bad” — they’re communicating overwhelm in the only way they can.
    • Giving space and quiet is often more helpful than questions or trying to “fix” it right away.
    • Focus on safety first, then patience and grace — for your child and for yourself.
    • Meltdowns end. Recovery takes time, but connection grows stronger on the other side.
    • Graceful parenting means choosing understanding over judgment, even in the hardest moments.

    Quote to Remember

“Sometimes it’s not the environment. Sometimes it’s biological. Sometimes our kids are carrying more than we can see — and even the places they love can suddenly feel like too much.”
