The roles of women in wine have expanded exponentially both in quantity and quality in recent years with initiatives for these deserving of analysis and further implementation. Co-Host Diana Hawkins, a winemaker from the US working in New Zealand, joins David in welcoming that country's NIcky Grandorge who's amongst her goals as Leadership & Communities Manager for its Winegrowers Association that of gender equity access. And making another welcome appearance in the Wine Future broadcast firmament is Laura Catena, MD of her family's eponymous Argentine estate and its Research Institute where she early on created hiring practices supportive of women.
