Healer and Qigong teacher Sebastian Monomosuke Törngren tells me about how he transformed his life from depression to power and joy – through energy medicine, physical changes and decisiveness.

As a 20 year old he struggled with deep depression and saw no way out. He chose to fully commit to life, growth, and becoming himself. After getting support by western medicine and shifting many aspects of his life, he started on a journey of deep healing.

Since then he's dived into many methods such as chinese medicine and qigong, breathwork, meditation, shamanism, plant medicine and more.

Today he's sharing his wisdom through transforming ceremonies, healing sessions, workshops, online programs and gatherings. Sebastian is the founder of Breath of Life, and part of his mission is to empower people to move from darkness to light and reconnect with their hearts.

I had the opportunity to speak with Adam Shield of the Feather, who recently visited Sweden to hold Indigenous healing ceremonies. He is a Native American of the Oneida Nation with South American heritage, born on a reservation in Idaho.

As a young man, he felt a calling to learn more about his ancestors and culture. For over ten years now, he has traveled around the world, living on donations, meeting Indigenous elders from many different countries and visited sacred sites. Adam runs the organization Tree of Light, which aims to rediscover and revive ancient Indigenous practices to help heal ourselves and Mother Earth.

En efterlängtad återkomst – Karin Steinbach Paulsson gästar Visdomsjakten igen, denna gång som översättare åt mig och Don Benito Apaza från ursprungsbefolkningen Q'eros. Benito lever i en av de fem Q'erosbyarna högt upp i bergen i Peru där han jobbar som pampamesajok – medicinman. Hans arbete går ut på att, med hjälp av naturkrafterna, stötta andras läkning genom ceremonier, energiarbete och kommunikation med den heliga växten coca. Q'eros är ättlingar till Inkafolket som byggde Macchu Picchu på 1400-talet och levde isolerat tills att de vandrade ner från bergen för att sprida sin visdom till västvärlden. När vi träffas är han på tillfälligt besök i Sverige för att sprida den inkashamanska energimedicinen. Karin säljer hantverk från familjer i Peru där hon själv har bott och lärt sig om Q'eros traditioner. Hon och Benito är vänner och håller olika workshops i Sverige då och då.
