Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
There’s a difference between hearing God and listening to Him.
Many of us hear what God is saying, but we struggle to follow through.
In this episode of Unmoved & Rooted, we talk about what it actually takes to become better every single day. Not by doing more, pushing harder, or trying to force change, but by learning how to listen more closely.
This is the story of learning to sit in stillness instead of negotiating with God, waiting through an “Ohio season” when everything felt stuck in transit, and discovering that His voice does not always arrive like thunder. Sometimes, it comes as a whisper.
If your prayers have started sounding like grocery lists, if you’ve been waiting on something that feels lost in transit, or if you want to recognize God’s voice within the noise of an ordinary day, this episode is for you.
What we talk about:
• Why stillness, not striving, is where real growth begins
• How everyday frustrations can become a classroom instead of a setback
• Trusting God’s timing when a promise feels stuck
• Learning to distinguish God’s voice from your own thoughts
• Why obedience, especially uncomfortable obedience, is where transformation begins
This episode also includes a short guided stillness exercise. If you’re in a safe place to pause for a few minutes, stay with it. Don’t rush past it.
