In this episode, I talk with Katherine Sellery, parenting coach, TEDx speaker, and founder of the Conscious Parenting Revolution, about one of the most common but harmful goals in parenting: obedience.

Katherine explains why raising “well-behaved” kids—children who never rock the boat and always put others’ comfort before their own—can actually lead to self-betrayal and long-term struggles with confidence, boundaries, and safety. Instead of seeking obedience, we can raise kids who:

• Respect themselves and others
• Trust their own inner voice
• Can safely say “no” when needed (the #1 protective factor against harm)
• Feel seen, valued, and respected as individuals

We also explore what happens when parents swing too far into permissiveness, how to set limits without falling back on control and punishment, and why parents need to trust themselves while still learning new tools.

This is a conversation that will challenge the way you think about “good behavior” and give you a vision for raising children who are both respectful and deeply connected to themselves.

Hiring a nanny isn’t just about finding childcare—it’s about welcoming someone into your family’s world. How do you make sure the person you choose not only loves kids but also respects your values, communicates well, and builds trust with everyone in the home?

In this episode, I sit down with Sarah Davis, founder of Olive You Nanny and creator of The Nanny Playbook. With over 25 years of experience in childcare and family placements, Sarah offers a behind-the-scenes look at what really makes a nanny–family relationship thrive.

We cover:

• How to interview beyond the resume and spot the qualities that matter most
• The importance of contracts and what they should include (discipline, boundaries, expectations, and more)
• What to do if your nanny’s approach doesn’t fully align with your parenting style
• Tips for setting boundaries when parents work from home
• Why respect and appreciation are as important as salary
• The nanny’s perspective—what caregivers wish families understood better
• Current trends in pay, part-time vs. full-time, and nanny cams

Whether you’re starting the search for the first time or looking to strengthen the relationship with your current nanny, this episode is packed with practical advice to help you feel confident and supported.

What if your child’s biggest struggles—and your most triggered moments—were actually invitations to heal yourself?

In this soulful conversation, I sit down with Akashic Records Reader and Energy Coach Kanika Vasudeva to explore a more spiritual lens on parenting. Kanika shares how each child arrives with a divine purpose and how our role as parents is not to fix them, but to hold space for their journey.

We explore:

• Why your child might be triggering you—and what that’s reflecting back
• How healing yourself changes your relationship with your child
• What the Akashic Records reveal about your soul and your child’s soul path
• The power of letting go of control and trusting the bigger picture

If you’ve ever wondered about the deeper meaning behind the parenting challenges you face, this episode is for you.
