We went into our first experience looking for bi play and somehow ended up with a straight couple, a laugh track, and the universe actively testing us at every turn. From missed signals and awkward timing to a husband who hadn’t even told his wife he was talking to swingers, this night had full 90s sitcom energy. It was hot, chaotic, and wildly imperfect. This is the official, everything-in-it, fully garnished, holiday cocktail.

Base

1. 2 oz bourbon or rye
2. 1.5 oz cranberry juice (100% juice)
3. 1 oz fresh orange juice
4. 0.5 oz maple syrup (or simple syrup)
5. 2–3 dashes orange bitters

Flavor Boosters (The “Works”)

1. 1 small squeeze fresh lemon (¼ oz)
2. 1 small splash ginger ale or ginger beer for sparkle
3. 1 tiny pinch cinnamon inside the shaker (optional but perfect)

Garnish (Holiday Showstopper)

1. 1 rosemary sprig (looks like a Christmas tree)
2. 3 sugared cranberries on a cocktail pick
3. Optional: orange peel twist expressed over the top

1. Add to a shaker:
2. bourbon, cranberry juice, orange juice, maple syrup, lemon, bitters, and cinnamon.
3. Add ice + shake hard for 10 seconds.
4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Add a tiny splash of ginger ale (½–1 oz).
6. Garnish with:
7. rosemary sprig
8. skewered sugared cranberries
9. orange twist if you want it extra gorgeous

Ingredients:

1. 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
2. 4 oz eggnog (store-bought or homemade)
3. 1 small pinch ground nutmeg
4. 1 small pinch ground cinnamon
5. Optional: 1–2 drops vanilla extract
