Anger - the one emotion we've been taught to suppress all along, because it seems inacceptable to express anger. Suppressed anger is when you know you are angry but choose to keep quiet without expressing it, for various reasons. However repressed anger runs a lot deeper, and actually doesn’t allow you to realise you are angry at all in the first place. This is when you are in denial of the emotion of anger. Whether it is suppressed or repressed - either way, both these forms of anger don’t serve us well.
Sidra says - We need to give ourselves the permission to experience a full range of emotions, even the negative ones, so that they don't cause bigger problems for us in the future. She says the best way to deal with anger is to learn to make peace with issues. Making peace with situations will allow you to acknowledge the situations as they are, you can either do something about them or accept them as they are.
Through this guided meditation we can address our anger in a safe space. We will communicate with clarity our words to let go of suppressed anger. To address our repressed anger we will make peace with issues that will allow us to acknowledge the situations as they are. You may choose to either do something about it or accept them for what they are. Making peace with the situation will bring a sense of relief and you will stop living in mutiny which is what causes the most unrest.Come back and listen to this as many times as you feel is required so you can move towards living a life of ease and grace.
