The Premier League has been back for precisely one weekend, so naturally it's already time for panic, wild conclusions and Marilyn declaring managers under pressure.

This week, Marilyn and Rebecca look back at an opening round that saw Hull stun Manchester United, Arsenal begin their title defence comfortably, Tottenham lose 3–0 at Brentford and Aston Villa somehow find themselves four goals down after just 32 minutes.

There’s also late drama involving Manchester City and Liverpool, Chelsea beginning the Xabi Alonso era with a five-goal London derby at Fulham, and an attempt to make sense of the ongoing Manchester City and Premier League case.

But football analysis alone clearly isn't enough anymore.

Marilyn and Rebecca attempt their own Spurs fan-channel watchalong, before the completely fictional postbag reopens for another edition of Ask Marilyn & Rebecca — featuring VAR being introduced into a marriage, a Saturday afternoon wedding crisis and possibly the worst season-ticket financial advice ever broadcast.
