What you and I see as insurmountable is only as fierce as what we make of it. History is filled with stories of the underdog, those whom the majority would rule out against the odds and never think twice about. Conventional wisdom tells us to always bet on the strong, the powerful, and the undefeated. But the true giants of history are rarely the tallest, the strongest, or the most feared. More often, its the small men of valor who are willing to take the hits and go the distance with heart, soul and faith, who win. The giants the world sees as impossible to beat may only take small stones to defeat with only the willingness to stand and daring enough to believe.

Anxiety and depression are not character flaws, signs of weakness, or things you can simply "snap out of." They are heavy, deeply painful realities of the 21st century. I know, because I have suffered from both. It made me question my faith, my relevance and whether I could go on. When others dismiss your anxiety or minimize your depression, it is easy to internalize that indifference and feel completely abandoned. But human dismissal does not dictate our faith, our worth or the prayers we pray. Because when others walk away, dismiss, or shame, God comes closer, He answers and He still speaks.

Why has it become so hard to expect the extraordinary? In a post-modern world that demands absolute proof and instant data, the quiet mystery of miracles can easily feel out of reach. Going beyond traditional ritual or dogma, when we put our knees on the ground, we challenge the heavy burden of doubt by returning to a simple, timeless truth: all it takes is the faith of a mustard seed. When we bring that tiny fraction of belief to our knees, things unheard and things unseen begin to happen.
