Dear Sis in Christ, I hope this video finds you well. This video is honestly for me and for those who are struggling with having a relationship with their mother. For years I have been feeling broken, lonely and unseen by my mother and it has done a great deal on my mental health. In the last few years God has been ministering to me on how I need to handle my disappointment and expectations that I held towards my mom. My heavenly Father has shown me that although I don't have what I want or what I think I need from my mother, I have exactly what I need from Him.
Take heart that God feels your pain and he sees the tears you have cried over not having a healthy relationship with your mother. Your mother is human and has her struggles like you and me. Continue to trust God and allow the Holy Spirit to do a new work within your heart and to show you how to heal and show up for your mother like He has for me.
