Death was supposed to end Sammi Curr's career. Nobody bothered telling Sammi. The Blind Rage Podcast celebrates Halloween with TRICK OR TREAT (1986), the gloriously deranged heavy metal horror flick that turns satanic panic into a full-blown publicity stunt. Marc Price stars as Eddie Weinbauer, a bullied teenage outcast whose favorite rock idol dies in a mysterious fire. Armed with an unreleased Sammi Curr recording, Eddie discovers that playing the music backwards allows him to communicate with his deceased hero. What begins as supernatural revenge against his tormentors escalates into a murderous Halloween comeback, with Sammi determined to make his final performance one hell of a show. Featuring Gene Simmons as a radio DJ and Ozzy Osbourne as a self-righteous televangelist, this outrageous slice of '80s horror proves that rock music really can be hazardous to your health.
