  • Voice Note 011: Boston, USA
    Sep 20 2026

Planning a short trip to Boston? I spent three days there in September and walked pretty much everywhere. In this episode I share where to stay in Boston, how to spend one day or a weekend there, and what the city's like in autumn.

I was in Boston for a conference in Seaport, but I stayed in the South End and walked in each morning. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip. Boston is so walkable that you really don't need a car, and you don't need to pay extra to stay right next to the sights either.

    In this episode:

    • Where to stay in Boston, and why Beacon Hill and the South End are my top picks
    • Beacon Hill Books & Cafe, the most beautiful bookshop I've ever visited
    • Boston Public Library, the Public Garden and Newbury Street
    • Walking the Freedom Trail to the North End
    • Eating well in Boston as a vegetarian
    • What Boston is like in September, and when to go for autumn colour
    • What I'd do with more time: Harvard and Salem

  • Voice Note 010: Lindos, Rhodes
    Sep 8 2026

Lindos is sold as the prettiest village in Rhodes — whitewashed lanes, a clifftop acropolis, and a bay you've definitely seen on Instagram. But is it actually worth booking, and what does it cost once you're there?

We spent five days in Lindos and this episode is everything we learned. I get into the Lindos Acropolis — the €20 ticket, the steep climb, and why golden hour beats midday. There's the St Paul's Bay and Lindos Beach, and I talk through our scooter day down to Prasonisi at the southern tip, where the sea sits on both sides of a sandbar and the kitesurfers go.

If you're deciding between Lindos and the bigger Rhodes resorts, this podcast gives you insights into the best of this Greek island!

  • Voice Note 009: Chamonix, France
    Jun 16 2026

Chamonix is famous as a ski destination, but on this trip we visited during early summer. It was an active week-long trip full of hiking, biking and climbing, and turned out to be one of our favourite Europe trips of all time!

We stayed in the nearby village of Servoz, away from the more crowded centre of Chamonix, rented a car, and explored on foot, bike and via ferrata. We share the full itinerary in this voice note.

  • Voice Note 008: Split, Croatia
    May 24 2026

2026 was our first time properly stopping in Split, even though we've visited Croatia before. We had just stepped off a three-day sailing trip, spent a few quiet, magical days unwinding on the island of Šolta, and then found ourselves with one final night in the city before an early flight home.

  • Voice Note 007: Kerala, India
    May 24 2026

Many travellers told us that India is magical, but also overwhelming and crazy at times. Zooming rickshaws, traffic noise, heavy crowds and packed trains. Not sure we were ready for the intense, heady-side of India, we researched the south to find a “soft India” trip for our first foray into this beautiful and chaotic country.

    We decided on Kerala.

This south Indian state known for being one of the cleanest and safest states, and with 100% literacy rates locals are proud of. We visited Kerala in November and spent two weeks exploring Kerala’s crumbling colonial cities, tranquil backwaters, verdant tea plantations and scorching beaches.

Check out our 2-week itinerary for the perfect Kerala trip and everything you need to know before you go.

Taghazout is Morocco’s serene fishing village turned surf haven and co-working hotspot. It’s laid-back vibe, sandy beaches and digital nomad-friendly accommodations make this hidden gem perfect for those seeking a balance of work, adventure and relaxation.

  • Voice Note 004: Šolta Island, Croatia
    May 23 2026

Šolta island is the closest Croatian island to Split, and easily reached by public ferry in about an hour. Yet Šolta sees just a tiny fraction of visitors compared to Hvar, despite being closer and more accessible. If you have heard of Hvar and never of Šolta, this post is for you.

We based ourselves in Maslinica, a postcard-perfect harbour town on Šolta, and stayed long enough to fall into the slow tempo of the island. In this episode, I share what Šolta is like.

Want to find out more? Read our blog post guide to Šolta and check out our Instagram highlight.
