• 19: Coachella? Age Is Fine. Cringe Is Forever.
    Apr 30 2026

Madonna's in the crowd. Trudeau's eating noodles with Katy Perry. The Old Chellas are cheering people in with signs. And Anji is in a feather boa.

This week's Gen in 10, we're asking: how old is too old for Coachella? Spoiler - it's not about age at all. It's about owning it. We settle the Trudeau debate, give Madonna a (mostly) free pass, wonder what would happen if it was Keir Starmer in a backwards cap, and conclude that style and a bit of rizz will get you further than a VIP wristband.

Oh, and Annie has never heard of The Prodigy. Anji's working on it...

  • 16: Special Guest, Laura Phelan - Advice for finding what matters
    Mar 26 2026

Today we meet Laura Phelan, who has helped countless women with issues around self-confidence, image & more.

Laura is a self-image specialist, speaker, transformational coach, based in Hove with her lovely dog, Belle. She’s worked with over a thousand clients, ran a Harley Street clinic, and has spoken for organisations including Sweaty Betty and BNP Paribas, as well as appearing on the BBC and Channel 4. What makes Laura’s work so powerful is that it comes from lived experience. After struggling with an eating disorder from a young age, she transformed her life, started her own business at 22, and now helps others build confidence, overcome self-doubt and develop what she calls a ‘bulletproof mindset’.

Here she shares her advice with Annie & Anji - advice that is relevant to any generation. From overusing social media, to setting boundaries - whether nostalgia for the 90s is a positive or negative - to how to negotiate burnout and work out your desert island strategy - there is something for everyone.

  • 14: Denise Nurse: Careers, Confidence and the Courage to Change
    Mar 12 2026

Our first ever guest joins the podcast - and it’s someone very special to us.

Denise Nurse is best known as the face of Escape to the Country and BBC Morning Live, but her journey started in corporate law before she built and sold her own business and stepped into the world of television, coaching and entrepreneurship. In fact, Denise is also the reason Anji and Annie met in the first place - which makes her something of a fairy godmother to this podcast.

In this episode we explore careers, confidence and the idea that life doesn’t follow one fixed path. From stepping off the traditional ladder to building something entirely new, Denise shares how curiosity, courage and asking the right questions can open unexpected doors.

We talk about generational differences in work and money, why younger people sometimes feel the ground shifting beneath them, and what older generations can learn from Gen Z’s openness and questioning spirit.

Along the way we also dive into investing, financial freedom, family choices, and the simple power of conversations across generations.

Because maybe life isn’t one straight road after all.
Maybe it’s just a series of chapters - and you get to write the next one.

  • Gen in 10: Why Gen Z stole the 90s
    Mar 5 2026

Welcome to Gen & 10, the little sister podcast series to ‘Too Young For This, Too Old For That’, where we explore generational topics in just 10 minutes.

In our first Gen & 10 episode, we dive into nostalgia and ask why Gen Z seems to be bringing so many 90s trends back. From iconic films like Pretty Woman, to 90s fashion, music, and cultural moments, including the lasting influence of Princess Diana, we explore why the decade still resonates today.

Are Gen Z reinventing these trends… or simply rediscovering what was already cool?
