Alex, by pure happenstance, is following up our last monthly episode about John Cleese with John Cleese's father's favorite book. What John Cleese boasted as one of the funniest book ever written. That's right. We are reading Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. Now, I don't know if this is one of the funniest books ever written, but it does have its highs and lows. Be sure to listen carefully as the brothers break down their thoughts and reactions to this timeless classic, and oldest book read for this season.

Next month, Joe has picked a behemoth of a book to try and get through. By far, the longest of the season. Maybe. He has picked The Terror by Dan Simmons. It is the book that got Joe into polar exploration stories. And there is even an abdominal snowman for our heroes to contend with in this historical fiction horror novel. So be sure to get an early start on it, as it is a long one.

Just as a reminder, we post twice monthly. On the 5th we post our book of the month. And on the 20th we will provide you lovely listeners with a bonus episode. Please make sure to subscribe so that you never miss an episode. And please be active listeners and comment and rate on how you think we are doing. All the details below.

Please help us grow this podcast. The more listeners we get the more we can do. While Alex and Joe love talking books it is nice to know we aren't the only two out there blathering into the universe.
