    Jul 5 2026

You are not an accident searching for significance. You are God's masterpiece, created intentionally and lovingly for His purposes.

Welcome to Day 5 of The Yielded Mind's 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Revelation Week continues, the Holy Spirit reveals another beautiful truth about your identity in Christ. You are not wandering through life hoping to discover your purpose. God has already created you anew in Christ Jesus, and He has prepared good works for you to walk in. Through Ephesians 2:10, you'll discover that purpose flows naturally from knowing whose you are.

In today's episode, you'll learn why purpose begins with identity rather than achievement, why faithfulness matters more than visibility, and how God unfolds His purpose one surrendered step at a time.

    Today's Scripture: Ephesians 2:10

    In This Episode:

    • Why you are God's masterpiece today—not someday
    • The difference between pursuing purpose and living from purpose
    • Why identity always precedes calling
    • How God values faithfulness above recognition
    • Why every act of obedience matters in God's Kingdom
    • A guided prayer to embrace God's purpose for your life

Key Truth: "You are not an accident searching for significance. You are God's masterpiece, created intentionally and lovingly for His purposes."

Welcome to Day 4 of The Yielded Mind's 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Revelation Week continues, the Holy Spirit invites you even deeper into the truth of your identity in Christ. Before the foundation of the world, before you ever took your first breath, God knew you and chose you in Christ. • Day 3: A New Identity | Revelation Week | The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal
    Jul 2 2026

Your past may explain part of your story, but it no longer defines who you are.

Welcome to Day 3 of The Yielded Mind's 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Revelation Week continues, the Holy Spirit reveals another life-changing truth about your identity in Christ. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, you are not becoming a new person someday—you have already been made new. Through 2 Corinthians 5:17, you'll discover that transformation begins not by trying harder, but by believing what God has already declared to be true about you.

In today's episode, you'll learn why your identity is found "in Christ," the difference between religion and the Gospel, and how lasting transformation begins by living from the new life Christ has already given you.

    Today's Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17

    In This Episode:

    • Why the words "in Christ" change everything
    • The difference between religion and the Gospel
    • Why your struggles are real but are not your identity
    • How the enemy uses false identities to keep believers in bondage
    • Why revelation must always precede transformation
    • A guided prayer to embrace your new identity in Christ

Key Truth: Christianity is not about becoming a better version of your old self. It's about learning to live from the new life Christ has already given you.

Reflection Question: What part of your past have you allowed to define you instead of embracing the new identity God has given you in Christ?

Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, replace every false label with God's truth, and help you live each day from your identity in Christ rather than from your past.

If today's episode encouraged you, consider following the podcast, sharing it with someone who needs hope, and leaving a rating and review. It helps more people discover the transforming power of God's truth.

  • Day 2: Called By Name | Revelation Week | The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal
    Jun 30 2026

God doesn't simply know your name. He calls you by it.

Welcome to Day 2 of The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Revelation Week continues, the Holy Spirit builds upon yesterday's foundation with an even more personal truth. The One who created you doesn't merely recognize you—He knows you intimately, calls you by name, and declares that you belong to Him. Through Isaiah 43:1, you'll discover that your identity is not assigned by the world but revealed by your heavenly Father.

In today's episode, you'll learn why relationship always comes before responsibility, how false identities lose their grip when confronted by God's truth, and what it means to live with the confidence of knowing you are personally known, deeply loved, and forever His.

    Today's Scripture: Isaiah 43:1

    In This Episode:

    • Why relationship always comes before responsibility
    • Why God calls you by name instead of your past
    • How the world attempts to assign identities that God never intended
    • Recognizing and rejecting false identities rooted in shame and fear
    • Why your circumstances cannot redefine who you are in Christ

Key Truth: "The world wants to assign your identity, but God reveals it."

Reflection Question: What false label have you accepted that God has never spoken over your life?

Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to quiet every competing voice and help you hear the Father's loving declaration: "I have called you by name. You are Mine."

  • Day 1: God Knows You | Revelation Week | The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal
    Jun 30 2026

Before God changes how you live, He lovingly changes how you see yourself.

Welcome to Day 1 of The Yielded Mind – A 50-Day Journey of Reflection and Renewal. As Revelation Week begins, discover the foundational truth that transformation starts with identity, not performance. Through Romans 8:16, you'll be reminded that the Holy Spirit continually bears witness that you are a child of God. Before your accomplishments, failures, fears, or disappointments ever tried to define you, your heavenly Father already knew you and loved you.

In today's episode, you'll learn why false identities lose their power when they encounter God's truth, and why genuine renewal begins by receiving what God has already declared about you in Christ.

    Today's Scripture: Romans 8:16

    In This Episode:

    • Why revelation always precedes transformation
    • The difference between God's voice and the voice of accusation
    • How false identities quietly shape our lives
    • Why your identity is received, not achieved
    • Learning to rest in the Father's love instead of striving for His approval
    • A guided prayer asking the Holy Spirit to establish your identity in Christ

Key Truth: "The Holy Spirit doesn't begin by asking you to perform better. He begins by revealing what has always been true in Christ."

Reflection Question: What identity have you been carrying that God never gave you?

Prayer Focus: Ask the Holy Spirit to quiet every false voice and deepen your confidence that you are fully known, deeply loved, and securely held by your heavenly Father.

  • The Yielded Mind | Episode One: Two Men and a Mirror with Robbie Frye
    Jun 8 2026

Welcome to the inaugural episode of The Yielded Mind Podcast.

Every journey has a beginning. This episode is ours.

Recorded in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Eric Hayes sits down with one of his closest friends, Robbie Frye, for a deeply personal conversation about surrender, discipleship, addiction recovery, marriage restoration, spiritual formation, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Eric and Robbie first met at Bethel Colony of Mercy, a Christ-centered recovery ministry in North Carolina. What began as a chance meeting between two broken men became a lifelong friendship forged through prayer, accountability, repentance, and the relentless grace of God.

Together, they walk through the first major movements found in The Yielded Mind:

    • Revelation — What God reveals about our identity, sonship, and need for Him.
    • Conflict — The internal battle between self-will and surrender.
    • Discipline — The daily practices that cultivate intimacy with Christ and renew the mind.
    • Surrender — Learning to trust God's process even when circumstances seem impossible.
    • Transformation — Witnessing God's faithfulness through restored lives, restored marriages, and renewed purpose.

Robbie openly shares his journey through addiction, recovery, relapse, restoration, and eventual calling into ministry. Eric reflects on his own struggles with pride, self-sufficiency, and the lessons God taught him through surrender.

This episode is not simply a conversation about recovery. It is a testimony of what happens when two men choose to yield themselves fully to Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to do what human effort never could.

If you've ever struggled with addiction, depression, anxiety, broken relationships, disappointment, shame, or the feeling that God could never redeem your story, this episode is for you.
