Keeping things on the spooky side to celebrate the season - plus we just loved it so much we wanted to talk about it - it's Midnight X-Men! The latest lore dense drop from Johnathan Hickman that helps to build the larger Midnight universe. Vampire mutants! But it's more than that, a fully formed universe that centers on this tenuous agreement built by warring factions. Which side do your favorite characters fall on? And who is the free agent who stands outside of it all?

A Brood Saga episode with no Brood!?! Don't worry, we've still got some spooky scaries set up in the issue order. Bring on Dracula! Ripped from the Gothic horror novel that bears his name, the Lord of the Vampires himself is after Storm as his next victim. Plus we take our first jaunt to Limbo and it is all but pleasant. Eldritch horrors abound as Belasco makes his move on little Illyana. No Brood, but still plenty of scary people taking the powers of others.

Brood Gonna Brood! And they're coming in hot with some intense lore drops. Take the powerful alive for our queen mother! Justice for the space whales. You've just made a true enemy of Storm my Brood babies and I don't think you understand how big a problem that is. Plus let's visit the Pentagon on our day off?
