Welcome Back Wonderers! This week we are diving deep into out sister subject True Crime & History… and boy do we have a lovely cry story for you. Sarah shares the intriguing story of potentially crime-solving psychic Kristy Robinett, while Reih regales us with a tale bone-chilling tale about what lies below.

We begin with the disappearance of Ashley Rowley, a young woman who went missing in Ohio in 2004. However, it seems that she refused to stay missing. Years went after Ashely’s disappearance, and yet somehow she managed to make an appearance to Kristy Robinett, a self-proclaimed psychic. Sarah gives us all the deets on how Kristy then embarked on the worst scavenger hunt of all time.

Next up is Reih with a true spooky Hallows Eve tale! This jarring story involves thunder and lightning… it’s really quite frightening. Reih shares bone-chilling descriptions of the dead actually rising, puritanical preparations for the upcoming rapture, and perhaps the most horrifying of all… incredibly poor city planning!

Welcome back, Wonderers! Spooky Season is a way of life for these Mystic Sisters, and here to stay! Join us this week as we revel in some Paranormal and Supernatural discussion as we discuss Ghost Hunters!

In a rare one subject special, these Mystic Sisters dive deep into the same subject and one of our favorite shows– our beloved Ghost Hunters! As one might expect from the Mystic Sisters, our love for the paranormal and supernatural has been a part of our lives since we were both small. Growing up (well, as teenagers), Ghost Hunters was one of the shows we all sat watched as a family, bonding over and exploring our ever-present fascination with the paranormal.

When it comes to Ghost Hunters, it’s not just a fun reality TV show for us. They hold a special place in our heart and family, and we were so ecstatic to take the opportunity to dive deeper into the story behind Ghost Hunters. We talk about how it all started for the founders of Ghost Hunters, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, and how we initially got into the show. We have fun spilling some behind-the-scenes tea, discuss our favorite episodes and memories, and bring everyone up to date on where our favorite Ghost Hunters are today.

Welcome back, Wonderers! And happy Spooky Season! We kick off the season with History and True Crime! Sarah talks about the history of our beloved housecats while Emily tells us about the crimes of Mary Toft.

As a wise Ellen Perry Berkeley, once said, “As every cat owner knows, nobody owns a cat.” So how did our beloved felines become America’s most popular pet? Sarah dives deep into the history of how cats essentially domesticated themselves, and their impact on society and cultures across the world. We discuss everything from hostage cats that were used to conquer Egypt to the spooky supernatural cats of Japan.

Emily then takes us on a wild ride with the tale of Mary Toft. Born in Godalming, Surrey, Mary Toft became quite sensation in England in 1726– after birthing animal parts. Yes, you read that right. Her anatomical mystery whipped up an immense stir, even roping in the surgeon for the Royal Family. Trust us, it’s a story you won’t want to miss! And for sure one you’ll never forget.
