• Ep 90 - The First Loaf: A Lammas Story from Mossvale
    Aug 1 2026

A Lammas story from Mossvale. The wheat has turned to gold, the swifts are gathering above the Storywood, and in Brambleton, Indigo is baking the first loaf of the season.

Step into the Vale on a hazy August day with golden fields, hay bales and the gratitude of a village breaking bread together. Meet Marmalade, Colin the Crow, Mabel Duskwood III & the ever-watchful Edith as Mossvale marks the turning of the wheel, that Lammas feeling of abundance & melancholy sitting side by side.

This lovely story is an invitation. A moment to notice your own harvest this year, whatever shape it's taken, and to sit with it before the wheel turns towards the darker half of the year.

If this story stirs something in you, Small Enchantments might be your next step. Daily folklore, seasonal wisdom & a gentle return to wonder, delivered straight into a cosy little corner of your day. Find out more at on the link below.

  • Ep 89 - A Place Worth Landing | A Mossvale Story About Believing in Yourself
    Jul 28 2026

This episode of The Wild Goddess, I'm sharing a story from the world of Mossvale, woven through with old bird folklore, and carrying a piece of wisdom that feels particularly tender this week.

A Place Worth Landing is the tale of Mr. Hawthorn Birdsfoot — a fairy with a dream that nobody else could quite see yet. And for a long time, the world told him that wasn't enough.

This story moves through the old folklore of three birds the wren, who flew highest not by being the strongest but by being patient and clever; the robin, who kept the hearth warm through the coldest winters; and the woodpecker, who worked with the grain of things rather than against them.

The things worth building take time. And they ask you to keep going even when no one else can see where you're headed yet.

This episode feels especially meaningful to me this week, because Through the Hedge: Tales from Mossvale, my debut collection of stories from the world of Mossvale, is out now. This book is my own Wonky Perch. My own sign that went up slightly crooked and stayed that way, because nothing about the journey was straight.

If you are in the middle of building something that the world hasn't caught up with yet, this one is for you.

Follow the smell of butter and wildflowers. 🌿

  • Ep 88 - She's Here: My Debut Book is Live and I Have All The Feelings
    Jul 28 2026

This is a moment I have dreamed about for a very long time.

Through the Hedge: Tales from Mossvale, my debut short story collection, is officially live on Amazon and I am sitting here with my physical copy in my hands and all the feelings in my heart.

In this short but very heartfelt episode I'm sharing exactly how it has all felt, the emotion of holding your own book for the first time, the pride of pushing through the self doubt and the fear and the moments of wanting to give up, and what it means to finally believe in yourself enough to put something so personal out into the world.

This book has been a journey of re-enchantment, of grief, of creativity and of trusting the process even when the path wasn't always clear. It started with a walk alongside a hedgerow in a place called Badger Dingle and grew into a world called Mossvale that I couldn't stop returning to.

If you have a dream you've been putting off, something that lives quietly in the part of you that hasn't quite been given permission yet, I hope this episode reaches you today.

Through the Hedge: Tales from Mossvale is available now on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.

  • Ep 87 - Speak Your Wishes into the Water: A Midsummer Guided Meditation
    Jul 22 2026

This one is for you to sink into.

A midsummer evening in the Storywood. The blackbird singing from the rowan tree. The daisies closing for the night. Dandelion seeds lifting into the golden air. And a path leading you, slowly and unhurried, through the ancient woodland to the Weeping Well.

There you'll find the well maiden waiting.

She'll offer you water from the well. She'll ask what this year has asked of you. And when you're ready, she'll invite you to speak your wishes, your hopes, your dreams, the things you're brave enough to actually want, into the dark of the water.

    Where they will be held.

This meditation is for the halfway point of the year. For reflection on what's been carried and what's ready to be set down. For the courage to name what you're reaching for in the second half of the year ahead.

It's also simply a beautiful place to rest for a while on a summer evening.

Find somewhere comfortable. Let your eyes close. And follow the path into the Storywood.

The well maiden is waiting. 🌿

  • EP 86 - A Soul Episode. Grief, Growth, Books & Small Enchantments 🌿
    Jul 22 2026

This one comes from the heart.

After a little time away, I'm back. And I wanted to come back with something real.

In this episode I'm sharing everything. The personal stuff first, caring for my Nan, what that time of stillness and grief taught me, and how stepping away from the noise of everyday life has a way of showing you exactly what matters.

From that stillness came clarity. About my identity as a writer. About the book I'm writing, set entirely in the world of Mossvale. About my fierce, wholehearted belief that re-enchanting the world is my soul work. And about the evolution of the Mossvale membership into something that feels more true to all of that than anything I've built before.

This episode also marks the launch of Small Enchantments, a membership rooted in folklore, wonder & the art of re-enchanting your everyday life. I'm sharing exactly why it exists, what happened when I ran it for free earlier this year, and why one month was never going to be enough.

If you've ever felt that strange flatness that comes from too much noise and not enough wonder, this episode is for you.

  • Ep 85 - All's Well: An English Folktale for July
    Jul 1 2026

There's an old English tale for July, about an old woman, a gooseberry bush & a household spirit called the Luck. It's a story about what happens when you leave something out for the unseen, and what comes back to you when you do.

Pull up a chair. This one's about generosity, gratitude & the quiet exchange between us & the magical world that gives back.

A lovely July listen for anyone who appreciates folktales, seasonal wisdom and the magic of a wonderful old story.

  • Ep 84 - An Ode to the Foxglove: Fairy Folklore & Hedgerow Magic
    Jun 29 2026

She can reach six feet tall, impossibly dramatic, and she's been keeping fairy secrets since long before anyone thought to write them down.

This episode is my love letter to the foxglove. To her freckled bells and her fairy footprints. To the West Country legend that says she bows when there's no wind, because she's acknowledging the fairy folk passing by. A piece of nature poetry from my heart that honours one of the most magical flowers in the woodland.

This is a slow, enchanted listen, written for a quiet moment, to remind you that the world is so much more alive than it usually gets credit for, and that the foxglove has been trying to show you where the doorway to a more enchanted world is all along.

  • Ep 83 - Summer Solstice Meditation: The Letter on the Longest Day
    Jun 20 2026

On the longest day of the year, a letter arrives that never comes any other time, sealed, warm, and smelling of elderflower and woodsmoke.

This summer solstice meditation steps away from the usual shed and release, plant new intentions structure, and into something closer to real midsummer folklore: the old Gaelic word for solstice (grianstad, meaning sun-stop), the belief that the Fae cross more easily into our world on this one day, and the golden flower that only blooms here and nowhere else in the year.

Rather than asking what you're ready to let go of, this one asks what you're curious about, and invites you to step outside, look up, and feel it for yourself.

A solstice letter from the magic of Mossvale, for anyone ready to feel a little more wonder today.
