The Warrior Medic helps men find, name, and heal the wounds keeping them from becoming who they were made to be — as husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of genuine faith. We start with the wound, not with religion, and walk toward the only One who has ever actually healed it.

  • The Conclusion the Boy Made | The Warrior Medic
    Jul 28 2026

There was a moment in a carport. My father said something that attacked everything a boy needs to survive — my masculinity, my pride, my desperate need to be accepted and loved.

The boy drew a conclusion: I am not enough.

And for the next forty years — every achievement was that man arguing with a conclusion a boy made in a carport.

No achievement could ever win that argument. Because it wasn't about achievement. It was about worth. And worth can't be earned. It can only be received.

Healing required me to go back to that carport — hand in hand with Jesus. Not to change what happened. But to hear what God says about that boy — instead of what his father said.

    That's healing in progress.

    TRANSCRIPT:

Hi, I'm Bill — and this is The Warrior Medic.
There was a moment in a carport.
I was a boy. My father said something to me.
I'm not going to tell you the specific words.
What I will tell you is what they did.
They attacked everything a boy needs to survive.
    My masculinity. My pride.
My desperate need to be accepted and loved
by the man who was supposed to model all of those things for me.
    That was the installation.
And the boy drew a conclusion.
    Not consciously. Not deliberately.
    But inevitably.
He decided he was not enough.
That the most important man in his life
had looked at him — really looked at him —
    and found him wanting.
And for the next forty years —
every achievement, every promotion, every success —
was that man arguing with a conclusion
a boy made in a carport.
No achievement could ever win that argument.
Because the argument wasn't about achievement.
    It was about worth.
    And worth can't be earned.
    It can only be received.
Healing required me to go back to that carport —
    hand in hand with Jesus.
    Not to change what happened.
But to hear what God says about that boy —
instead of what his father said.
    That's healing in progress.

  • I Couldn't Heal What I Didn't Understand | The Warrior Medic
    Jul 28 2026
I couldn't heal what I didn't understand. And for decades I didn't even know what I was missing.Every wound follows the same pattern. Something happened to the boy. He drew a conclusion. And that conclusion ran the man's life for forty years without him knowing it.Installation. Conclusion. Manifestation. There was a moment in a carport. My father said something that attacked my masculinity, my pride, and my desperate need to be accepted and loved. The boy concluded he was not enough. And the man spent forty years arguing with that conclusion. No achievement could ever win that argument. Because it wasn't about achievement. It was about worth. And worth can't be earned. His name is Jesus. And last week — we walked through the hardest thing most men will ever do. The first healing tool… forgivenessNow I want to tell you where we're going from here.Because what comes next is the most practical, most specific, most actionable content we've discussed. We're going to take each wound — individually, specifically, surgically — and name exactly what it did to you.Not in general. In detail. Then we're going to talk about repentance — not the religious version — the real version. Then we're going to give you tools. Real tools. Practical daily practices that a man can actually use. This is Part Two of the healing phase. And it's where everything we've built together starts to pay off.Stay on the trail. The hardest part is behind you.SECTION 1: THIS IS NOT A REPEATBefore we go further — I need to say something clearly. What we're doing now is NOT a repeat of what we did in the early episodes.Early in this series — we named the wound. We gave you language for what you've been carrying. We described the symptoms — the rage, the isolation, the impostor syndrome, the shame. That was recognition. That was the front door. What we're doing now is different. Now we're going inside. Not just naming THAT the wound exists — but understanding exactly how each specific wound was installed in you. What it made you conclude about yourself. And how that conclusion has been running your life ever since. This is surgical work. Not a survey. A scalpel. And it requires a framework.SECTION 2: THE FRAMEWORKEvery wound — every single one — follows the same pattern.Three steps. Always in this order.Step one: The Installation.Something happened to the boy. A specific event. A specific person. A specific moment when something was done to him or said to him or withheld from him.The wound doesn't arrive as a wound. It arrives as an event. The boy doesn't know yet what it's doing to him.Step two: The Conclusion. The boy draws a conclusion from that event. Not consciously. Not deliberately. But inevitably. He decides something about himself. About the world. About what he can expect from the people around him. That conclusion becomes the lens through which he sees everything else for the rest of his life.Step three: The Manifestation.Forty years later — that conclusion shows up.In his rage. In his marriage. In the way he fathers — or doesn't father — his children. In the patterns he repeats without knowing why.The man doesn't connect what's happening now to what happened then. He just knows something is wrong. Something keeps firing. Something keeps costing him. That's the framework.Installation. Conclusion. Manifestation. And the healing work — the real work — is going back through that framework in reverse.Identify the manifestation. Trace it to the conclusion. And then find out what that conclusion was based on… Find the installation. And then — with Jesus — begin to dismantle what that installation built.SECTION 3: THE CARPORT — A FRAMEWORK EXAMPLELet me show you what this looks like using my own story. There was a moment in a carport.I was a boy. My father said something to me.I don’t need to tell you the specific words. They're mine. And they don't ...

  • YOU Can Break The Chain | The Warrior Medic
    Jul 24 2026

I want to speak to two men right now.

To the son: Stop waiting for an apology that will never come. The forgiveness doesn't require him. It requires you. His knowledge of your forgiveness is irrelevant. Your freedom from carrying it is not.

To the father: You are not your father's wound. You do not have to pass this to the next generation. The chain can break with you.

But it will only break if you heal. And healing starts with the friendship we've been talking about. And the first tool: forgiveness.

    TRANSCRIPT:

I want to stop right here and speak to the Sons… and to the fathers.
I'm Bill — and this is The Warrior Medic.
    First — the son.
The man carrying what his father has instilled in him.
The man who has been waiting for an apology… that will never come.
Waiting for his father to acknowledge what he did.
    Stop waiting.
    Understand… forgiveness doesn't require him.
    It requires you.
And it's available right now —
whether your father is living or dead,
    whether he knows or doesn't,
whether he would grieve or laugh.
His knowledge of your forgiveness is irrelevant.
Your freedom from carrying this load is not.
    Second — to the father.
The man who recognized himself in what I’ve described this week.
Who heard "non-moments" and felt the weight of the ones he's already created… or the ones missed.
    This is not condemnation.
    This is an invitation.
You are not your father's wound.
You do not have to pass this to the next generation.
The chain can break with you.
But it will only break if you heal.
And healing starts with the friendship we've been talking about.
    And the first tool: forgiveness.
And this week’s discussions on forgiveness are the most powerful thing we’ve done.
