In this episode, I’m sharing the story behind one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written: “In Love.” 💕

This song isn’t about one specific person it’s about the feeling of being in love. When I wrote it, I imagined myself walking with the love of my life, hand in hand, just completely gone for them. The beat reflects that too it feels like you’re on a soft little journey, whether you’re walking down the street, cleaning the house, or just letting it play in the background.

I wrote “In Love” for people who sometimes struggle to put their feelings into words. If you can’t quite say, “There’s something about you, I love you, I can’t be without you, I love to talk to you, I love to spoil you,” this song does that talking for you. It was also the first song I made that wasn’t strictly an encouragement song which helped me realize I could spread my wings creatively and write about love too, not just healing.

“In Love” is part of my second EP, LHA – Love, Heartbreak & Aftermath, which takes you on a journey from being in love, through heartbreak, and back to yourself again. And I’m still blown away that “In Love” has even been picked up and played on radio stations like Smooth Groove Radio, The Vibe and Mesa with no promotion.
