 How, what, where or why? I've been writing songs since I was 10 years old. Once a month I'll talk about a particular song - why I wrote it, or how, or what inspired me, or maybe I'll just tell a little anecdote that illustrates the song - who knows? There's no method to this series, so each episode may be a different length - I may not have much to say, I may have a lot to say.     Written in 1993 (I think) Fish Out of Water really should be awarded a long service medal. It's the oldest song in my repertoire that I sing in virtually every concert I play.

    And, after all these years, I've won an award! First prize at TourMusicFest 2025.
