Old Forester 1897 Manhattan Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Old Forester 1897 Bourbon
• 1 oz sweet vermouth
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Ice
• Maraschino cherry (for garnish)
• Orange twist (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Chill the Glass: Start by chilling a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.
2. Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing glass, combine the Old Forester 1897 Bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.
3. Add Ice: Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.
4. Strain: Dump the ice water from your cocktail glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
5. Garnish: Garnish with a maraschino cherry and an orange twist.
