Sound of the AltarEpisode 4 — The Sound Before the ExpressionBefore the manuscript is written, the song is released, the movement is expressed, or the blueprint becomes visible, there is often a sound. In this episode of Sound of the Altar, Vania Costner explores what happens when Yahweh places a seed within a prepared vessel. The seed may begin as a burden, revelation, image, melody, movement, word, or even a groan that has not yet found language. The Kingdom artisan must learn to recognize the different sounds that accompany each stage of formation—from awakening and intercession to travail, cultivation, warfare, manifestation, and finally release. Not every sound is an announcement. Some revelations are meant to remain hidden while the Father develops the vessel, establishes the roots, and reveals the blueprint. This episode also explores the difference between manifestation and release, the danger of premature expression, and the importance of discerning the appointed time for what Yahweh has placed within you.In This EpisodeWe discuss how a prepared vessel receives seed and why receiving revelation does not automatically mean it is time to release it.We explore the sound of awakening and how what Yahweh has spoken can begin stirring what has been dormant within the artisan. We look at intercession, groaning, and travail as part of the formation process and how Ruach HaKodesh can give sound to something before the natural mind has language for it.We also discuss cultivation, preparation, obedience, and why prayer does not eliminate the need to develop the skill required to steward what Heaven has entrusted. This episode addresses resistance and warfare, while emphasizing the importance of discerning the difference between spiritual opposition, divine protection, preparation, and Yahweh simply saying, “Wait.”Finally, we examine manifestation, timing, the release of the blueprint, premature exposure, and the moment when the Father gives permission for what has been cultivated privately to enter the seen realm.Key ScripturesRomans 8:26–27 — The Spirit intercedes through wordless groans.2 Timothy 2:21 — The prepared vessel becomes useful to the Master.Habakkuk 2:3 — The revelation awaits an appointed time.Genesis 1:2–3 — Ruach Elohim hovers before Yahweh releases His word.Luke 1:38 — Mary comes into agreement with the word of the Lord.Isaiah 55:11 — Yahweh’s word accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it.Ezekiel 22:30 — Standing in the gap through intercession.Galatians 4:19 — Travail connected to formation.Psalm 139:16 — What concerns us was known and written before manifestation.1 Corinthians 3:6–7 — We plant and water, but Yahweh gives the increase.Mark 4:26–28 — The seed develops in stages.Nehemiah 4:9, 17 — Pray, guard, and continue building.Mark 5:27–34 — Hearing produces faith, faith produces movement, and manifestation becomes testimony.Luke 2:19 — Mary treasured and pondered what she received.Exodus 25:40 — Build according to the pattern shown on the mountain.Ecclesiastes 3:7 — There is a time to be silent and a time to speak.Psalm 40:3 — A sound placed within one vessel becomes visible testimony.Key TakeawaysThe seed awakens because it recognizes the sound of its origin.Every sound is significant, but every sound is not an announcement.Public expression should not precede private formation. The expression is the seen form of an unseen conversation.Manifestation is evidence. Release is authorization. The issue is not perfection; it is permission. The fruit of one artisan’s obedience can become the seed of another artisan’s awakening. And perhaps most importantly:This is not merely a season to produce. It may be an appointed time to cultivate what Heaven has planted.Listen + ConnectThank you for listening to Sound of the Altar with Vania Costner, presented by Glory Fire Studios.Until next time, remain near the altar.Connect with Vania & Glory Fire🌐 Glory Fire International Worship Ministries — www.gloryfireinternational.org🎥 YouTube — @GloryFireStudios📸 Instagram — @gloryfireinternational 💙 Facebook — Glory Fire International Worship Ministries🛍️ Yahweh Creations from Heaven — https://www.yahweh-creations-from-heaven.com

  • Preparing the Vessel :Why God Uses Hidden Seasons to Prepare You
    Oct 1 2026
Sound of the AltarEpisode 3: Preparing the VesselBefore the Pouring, There Is a PreparingIn this episode of Sound of the Altar, Vania Costner continues the journey of the Kingdom artisan by moving from the altar of priesthood into the preparation of the vessel.Episode 2 established that the Kingdom artisan is priest before gift. Before the writing, the sound, the movement, the building, or the release, there is first ministry unto the Lord. In Episode 3, we go deeper into what happens after Yahweh begins to mark a vessel for sacred use. Before the pouring, there is a preparing. This episode explores the refining process of becoming a vessel for honor — set apart, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work. Through Scripture, prophetic teaching, and personal reflection, Vania unpacks why preparation is not punishment, hiddenness is not rejection, and fire is not always destruction. Sometimes the fire is what makes us ready. In This EpisodeVania teaches on:The Kingdom artisan as a vessel being prepared for sacred useWhy the gift cannot become the identityThe difference between being gifted and being useful to the MasterHow inner formation must come before public functionWhy wounds cannot become the filter for revelationThe role of fire, pressure, and purification in spiritual maturityGideon’s private altar before public victoryDavid’s oil before the throneWhy deeper mysteries require spiritual foundationThe oil, the wine, and the capacity to carry what Yahweh poursThe difference between receiving a seed and releasing the harvestKey Scriptures2 Timothy 2:20–21 AMPA vessel for honor, sanctified, set apart for a special purpose, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work.2 Corinthians 4:7We carry treasure in earthen vessels so that the excellence of the power may be recognized as belonging to God and not to us.Luke 6:45Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.Psalm 51:10“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”Judges 6:25–26Gideon is instructed to tear down the altar of Baal and build an altar to the Lord before confronting Midian publicly.1 Samuel 16:13Samuel anoints David with oil, but the oil comes before the throne.1 Corinthians 2:10The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.Hebrews 5:14Solid food belongs to the mature, whose senses have been trained through practice to discern.Matthew 9:17New wine requires a wineskin capable of sustaining what is being poured.Key ThemesThe Vessel Is Not the SourceOne of the first truths every Kingdom artisan must settle is this: we are not the source of what we carry. The revelation, wisdom, sound, blueprint, oil, wine, and fire all belong to Yahweh. We have been invited into stewardship.Set Apart for a Special PurposeConsecration is not only about removal. It is about being reserved for sacred purpose. When Yahweh begins preparing a vessel, He may address motives, wounds, old patterns, reactions, ambition, and identities formed through survival rather than truth.Useful to the MasterThe deeper question is not only, “Am I gifted?” The deeper question is, “Can Yahweh use me the way He desires?” Usefulness requires surrender, correction, patience, restraint, and obedience even when no one sees what is being carried. The Wound Cannot Become the FilterHealing is part of stewardship. A wounded scribe can mistake pain for revelation, and a wounded intercessor can mistake anxiety for discernment. Maturity requires the humility to recognize what is God, what is self, and what is still being healed. The Fire Is Part of the FormationThe fire does not always come to destroy. Sometimes the fire removes noise, purifies motives, develops weight, and prepares the vessel to carry greater responsibility. The Higher You Go, the Lighter You Must BecomeRecorded during the month of Elul, this episode includes a personal confession from Vania about being in the process herself. One of the central revelations is this:The higher you go in Yahweh, the lighter you must become.Offense becomes too heavy. Pride becomes too heavy. The need to prove yourself becomes too heavy. Old identities become too heavy. Sometimes the fire is not only burning away what is sinful; it is removing what is too heavy for where Yahweh is taking you.Oil, Wine, and CapacityThe oil speaks to consecration and appointment. The wine speaks to capacity and transformation. The fire purifies. Each one requires stewardship.Sometimes we are asking for fresh oil while Yahweh is working on the wineskin. Sometimes we are asking for new wine while resisting the stretching. Sometimes we are asking for deeper revelation while refusing the foundation that would allow us to steward it correctly.Closing ThoughtPreparation is not wasted time. It is part of the assignment. The fire is not consuming your purpose. It may be preparing you to carry it.The oil is not the finish line. The wine requires maturity. And the deeper things of Heaven ...

The Kingdom Artisan: The Priest Before the Gift

In this episode of The Sound of the Altar, Vania Costner explores the altar as the place where the Kingdom Artisan is formed before the gift is ever released.

Beginning in Exodus 25, we look at Moses receiving the pattern for the tabernacle in the presence of Father and how encounter came before construction. Before there was a physical altar, there was already an altar being formed within Moses through surrender, separation, listening, and obedience.

From there, this episode moves into the Levitical order and the distinction between the priests and the Levites. The Levitical system gave Israel revelation concerning holiness, access, sacrifice, consecration, stewardship, and the weight of carrying what belonged to God. But Scripture does not leave us there.

Hebrews reveals the necessity of another priesthood.

If perfection could have come through the Levitical priesthood, why was there a need for another Priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek?

This episode opens the door to understanding Yeshua as our eternal High Priest, whose priesthood is unchangeable. Through His blood, a new and living way has been opened, restoring access to Father and bringing us into a Kingdom reality that goes beyond an old religious structure.

We also explore why Kingdom artistry is about much more than creativity within the four walls of the church. Whether expressed through writing, movement, design, sound, painting, craftsmanship, building, or another creative assignment, the Kingdom Artisan is first formed at the altar.

Before the gift, there is surrender.

Before the blueprint is released, there is encounter.

Before the creation becomes an offering, the creator must first become the offering.

Romans 12 brings the revelation home as we are called to present ourselves as living sacrifices and allow Father to transform us through the renewing of our minds. The altar becomes the place where false identities, ambition, performance, comparison, and every competing altar within us can be confronted.

The Kingdom Artisan does not create for access to Father. We create from relationship with Father.

    We surrender.

    We receive.

    We are transformed.

And then we build what Father has entrusted to us in the earth.
