 This podcast was born out of one small singular realization; sometimes when you go through severe abuse, you have to talk it out to fully own, understand, and move on from it. That's what this podcast is all about. I am a survivor of so many different forms of abuse at the hands of several different abusers. A lot of people that grow up in abuse tend to gravitate toward similarly abusive people as they mature into their adulthood. It wasn't until I finally decided I wanted to live MY own life that I started to speak up. Once I started I couldn't stop.The result of those meaningful conversations, some with my therapist & some with my wall, was that I grew. I healed the wounds that had been festering for my entire adult life. I had found that sense of self and sovereign ownership over MY STORY. I want to give that to other survivors too.
