• What If Your Problem Isn’t Trusting Allah?
    Sep 28 2026

You say you trust Allah. So why does your chest still tighten every time things get uncertain?

In this episode, I unpack the real difference between believing in Allah and having a genuinely good opinion of Allah... and why a scarcity mindset is often a disguised belief that He won't come through.

Drawing on my own story of self-reliance and burnout, I break down the Qur'anic verse where shaytan threatens us with poverty while Allah promises forgiveness and bounty (2:268), and introduce the practice I use with clients which is catching a negative thought and returning it to Allah through istighfar, before it quietly becomes a belief you live by.

If you've ever thought "this probably won't work out" and called it being realistic, this episode is for you.

  • How to Heal Your Opinion of Allah: Tawakkul, Anxiety & Trusting Allah
    Sep 22 2026

What does having a good opinion of Allah actually look like?

In this episode of So Connected, we’re talking about husn al-dhann billah (having a good opinion of Allah), tawakkul, trusting Allah, anxiety, overthinking, discipline, and fear of the future (and the connection between them).

You can believe Allah is Ar-Razzaq and still live like your provision depends entirely on you. You can believe in tawakkul and still make decisions from fear. You can pray for what you want while secretly expecting Allah to disappoint you.

That’s why sometimes the answer isn’t another productivity system, morning routine, planner, or discipline reset.

The deeper work may be healing what you believe about Allah.

This episode kicks off a new So Connected series for Muslim women who are ready to stop building their lives from fear and start building with trust in Allah, tawakkul, intention, and barakah.

This fall, we’re letting our bad opinion of Allah fall 🍂

Listen if you’ve been struggling with:

    • trusting Allah with your future

    • anxiety and overthinking

    • difficulty practicing tawakkul

    • fear around money and provision

    • feeling like everything depends on you

    • constantly trying to “fix” yourself

    • knowing Allah is good intellectually but struggling to feel that in your heart

  • The Pain of Becoming (pt. 2)
    Sep 15 2026

You asked Allah to change your life. But what happens when He starts changing you?

In Part 2 of The Pain of Becoming, we explore five uncomfortable parts of spiritual growth and personal transformation: seeing truths you can no longer ignore, building discipline without relying on motivation, raising your standards, learning to walk with Allah instead of trying to control everything + becoming the woman you once prayed to be.

Because growth is not just about becoming more confident, productive, or successful. Sometimes it means confronting the identity, habits, and coping mechanisms that helped you survive… but can no longer lead your life.

If you’ve been feeling stretched, unsettled, or different in ways you can’t fully explain, this episode will help you name what may be happening beneath the surface.

Listen to Part 2 of The Pains of Becoming on So Connected. If it resonates, leave a comment and share what stood out to you, or tell me what you’re currently navigating.

  • The Pain of Becoming
    Sep 8 2026

There have been seasons in my life where I knew I was growing, but I didn’t expect growth to hurt this much.

I was becoming someone I had prayed to become, yet I was also losing parts of my life that once felt familiar… relationships, identities, environments, and the version of myself who thought she had to figure everything out on her own.

In Part 1, I’m sharing the first five pains I experienced through that transformation:

    • Outgrowing people
    • Feeling lonely as your path changes
    • Becoming more aware of what no longer aligns
    • Grieving your old identity
    • Being misunderstood

If you’re in a season where you know you’re changing but don’t quite recognize your life anymore, this episode is for you.

You don’t have to rush the becoming.

🎧 Press play and let’s talk about the parts of transformation we don’t usually say out loud.

And if this episode gave you a new perspective, helped you put words to something you’ve been experiencing, or simply made you feel a little less alone, leave me a comment and let me know.

I’d also genuinely love to hear your feedback 👇🏿 what resonated, what challenged you, or what you’d love for me to talk about next. This podcast is a conversation, and your thoughts are part of it. 🤍

  • You Don’t Need More Discipline. You Need More SURRENDER.
    Aug 31 2026

Okay, but what if you don’t actually need more discipline?

What if you’re already doing the planning, working, showing up, and tying your camel… but you’re also trying to control the part that belongs to Allah?

In this episode, we’re talking discipline + surrender, tying your camel and trusting Allah, and what tawakkul actually looks like when you’re building, leading, and trying not to burn yourself out in the process.

Because doing your part is your responsibility.

    Making everything work? That’s not.

If you’re tired of overthinking, overworking, striving, and feeling like everything depends on you, press play.

This episode might just change the way you think about burnout, productivity, success + Allah-reliance.

And when you finish listening, leave me a comment. What are you ready to stop carrying? 👀

Because the answer to burnout might not be more discipline.

It might be more surrender. 🕊️
