Welcome to She’s Rooted—your space to breathe, reset, and get rooted in what actually matters most. This isn’t a hype or hustle podcast. It’s two best friends—wives, moms, business owners, OG network marketers, and truth-tellers—having raw, honest conversations about the perspective we wish we had a lot sooner in life. We talk mindset, real life, and cutting through the noise and beliefs that quietly hold women back. For the women who are done pretending everything is “fine.” New conversations weekly—so pull up a chair. We’re getting real unscripted. • 75 Years If You're Lucky: Stop Waiting, Start Living
    Sep 24 2026

Friend, how many times have you said "one day I'm going to..." and then one day just never came?

This week a TikTok stopped Jamie mid-scroll. Eddie Murphy popped out from behind a wall, pointed right at her, and reminded her that we only get about 75 years if we're lucky. That's 75 winters, 75 springs, 75 summers, and 75 falls. So we brought it straight to the mic, and it turned into one of our most real conversations yet.

In this episode, we're talking about how to stop letting fear, distraction, and the endless scroll steal the time you actually have. Monique shares how putting her phone away at her son's soccer practice led to a real connection and a new friend (and a new face in her dance fitness class). We talk about giving yourself permission to matter as much as the people you pour into every day, why finding the magic in the mundane might be the most important thing you ever do, and how to define what a successful life looks like for you, not for anyone else.

And then things got real. Jamie has been saying "I'm going to write a book" for years, and the cursor is still blinking at her. So she came up with the Rooted 75: 75 minutes a day, every day, for 75 days, spent on what actually matters to you. Monique immediately alley-ooped it and gave Jamie her assignment: those 75 minutes go to writing. No sneaking workouts in.

Now we're inviting you in. Pick your thing, whatever matters most to you, and give it 75 minutes a day, starting now. Drop it in the comments so we can cheer you on.

    You'll walk away with:

    • A perspective reset on how you're spending your days
    • Simple ways to protect your time (hello, red time and do not disturb)
    • Permission to put yourself back on your own priority list
    • The Rooted 75 Challenge and a reason to start today

The Eddie Murphy TikTok is linked in the show notes. Save it, rewatch it, share it with someone who needs it.

    Stay Rooted Sis

  • You Can Care Without Having To Carry It All
    Sep 17 2026

"You can lose years trying to fix what was never yours to fix."

This week Jamie and Mo get into a post that hit way harder than expected — the shares, the messages, the "wait, this is literally me" reactions. They talk about being the fixer, the includer, the one who loves big — and what happens when you pour years into someone or something that was never yours to fix in the first place.

"Sometimes letting go isn't giving up. Sometimes it's finally putting down what was never yours to hold."

Real talk on friendships that ended out of nowhere, giving your time and energy to people who don't give it back, and learning the difference between caring about someone and carrying them.

"You can care without having to carry it all."

    Stay rooted, sis.

  • See the Magic in the Mundane
    Aug 6 2026

In this episode, we're talking about what it means to stay present in your actual life — not the one you're chasing or the one you used to have. We get into the difference between a hell yes and a hell maybe, what it looks like to miss an old season without trying to rebuild it, and a simple practice — writing tomorrow out before it happens — that's changed how intentional our days feel. If you're ready to stop waiting for the big moments and start noticing the ones you're already in, this one's for you.
