    Our guest today is Charles Roberts, a veteran real estate professional with a fascinating back-story here in Portugal that begins in Albufeira and takes us to Cascais.

    He is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Fine & Country Portugal, a luxury real estate agency focused on high-end residential property in Lisbon, Cascais, Comporta, and other prime regions.

    An Englishman (originally from Yorkshire), Charles moved to Portugal after falling in love with the country in the 1980s.

    He is also on the Supervisory Board of the Royal British Club, a long-standing British heritage social and networking club in Portugal dating back to 1888, with the British Ambassador to Portugal as its president.

    He also discusses his feelings towards present-day America, to where he is unlikely to return, and how he manages his relationship with his former home in terms of mental health and happiness.
