Just another episode of my thoughts out loud about Halloween.

You wake up,

In the middle of the night,

In a cold sweat.

You look around,

Believing your old seif is there, somewhere,

Amidst the ruins of your former self,

Thinking it was just another nightmare,

Except this one is a waking dream.

You have lost your way,

Then it hits you, it's all real.

Everything imagined, happened in truth,

One decision, one misstep, and what you once knew,

It all crumbles, passing like dust through your fingers.

All you can do is go back to sleep, and wonder, why?

Think of this as the episode that's a pilot to a TV show that sets the tone for the entire series. Should I continue? I just want to follow my childhood dream of having my own radio station. Let's put on those rose tinted glasses on one eye, and save the dark cynical one for the other. Let's Quizzically Peruse life together.
