  • The Queen of Melbourne Real Estate - Ruth Roberts!!
    Oct 7 2026

In this episode, we sit down with Ruth Roberts to talk about the career behind it all, building a business, raising a family, becoming Melbourne’s most respected female auctioneer, creating a team people genuinely want to stay and grow with, and the systems, standards and leadership behind that longevity.

With almost four decades in real estate, Ruth has built an incredible career as an agent, auctioneer, business owner and Director of Woodards Carnegie & Bentleigh. But what we admire most isn’t just what she’s achieved... it’s the way she’s built it.

Ruth runs her own race, has built an incredible team around her and is someone we have looked up to in the industry for a very long time.

  • Renovating to add value: Tabitha’s home renovation Pt 2
    Sep 24 2026
A Melbourne home renovation from purchase to move-in, what worked, what it cost and how the transformation added value. In Part 2, we’re talking through the finished transformation: what worked, where she spent and saved, the decisions that made the biggest difference, and what she’d do differently next time. After completely gutting the property, the renovation was surprisingly seamless! No major disasters, no renovation horror stories, just a fast transformation that has completely changed the home and added substantial value along the way. We also chat about renovating without overcapitalising, making smart decisions for resale value, and the difference between spending money for yourself versus spending money to improve the property. If you’re planning a home renovation, buying a property to renovate, or wondering which renovations actually add value, this episode is for you. • Worth the Money… or Waste of time?
    Sep 9 2026

Buying a property comes with a long list of people and services you could pay for, but which ones are actually worth the money?

In this episode, we work our way through the usual suspects: buyer’s advocates, legal eagles, mortgage brokers, building and pest inspectors and some you may not have considered.

We debate where it makes sense to spend the money, where you might be able to save, and which costs could potentially save you a whole lot more in the long run.

Some, simply no-brainers. Others depend entirely on the property and your circumstances, and of course there’s a few we can’t quite agree on.

If you're buying, selling, renovating or investing, this episode will help you work out what’s actually worth paying for, and what you might be able to skip.
