There are 168 hours in a week. Work, sleep and logistics take about 114 of them. The 54 that are left are where your actual life happens - and almost nobody knows where theirs go. The PlanJour Podcast is about making that visible. Each week: how to plan and journal in a way that survives a real week, what your calendar is hiding from you, and honest accounts of building PlanJour - including the parts that go wrong, the rejections, and the features we got back from people who told us we were wrong. Where did your week actually go?

An introduction to PlanJour, and to the 54 hours nobody measures.

There are 168 hours in a week. Sleep takes 49. Work takes 40. Commuting,

eating, cooking and clearing up take another 25. That leaves 54 hours - and

that is where your entire life lives. Every friendship, every walk, every

conversation that isn't logistics. Most of us can account for the 40 and

almost none of the 54, which is exactly why Sunday night feels vague.

In this first episode: why planning and reflecting used to be the same object

and what happened when software split them in two, why a calendar can't tell

the difference between a good week and a week that destroyed you, and what

PlanJour does about it - honestly, including what's free, what's paid, and the

three things it deliberately refuses to be.

Your task before next week takes four minutes and needs no app at all.

Next week: your calendar is lying to you, and we have the data to prove it.

PlanJour is free to start at planjour.com - your calendar and your journal in

    the same place.
