Welcome to the newly formed audio diary of those still intimate and intentional conversations that just needed airtime: “Beauty and the Mic Podcast”. This season is all about re-establishing my inner peace, breaking down walls, and building the place that actually feels safe.

Jordan Camille Gallemore is no stranger to this as she was last time crowned as the Miss Junior of the Timeless Royalty Royal Court under the 17th Mr. And 87th Miss Fort Valley State University, Alexis Strozier Jr. and Nya Aaliyah Floyd respectively. Since then, she has profoundly made and maintained her passion for serving as she founded her own organization to even her own platform discussing the global issues pertained to the countries she visited as a Study Abroad student, which has now led her to humbly vy as the 88th Miss Fort Valley State University as the F.R.E.S.H. Princess once again! With her mission, she hopes to bring out a new side and spirit of Fort Valley and its students not only reigning as queen, but as a friend to those she meets. Join us where she exclusively discusses her reign as Miss Junior, the challenges and triumphs that came along, why she created her own organization, what was she taught during her time as Miss Junior, and most importantly, what would it mean to be in that position!

If Valentine's Day were everyday...... I would vomit.

With the final guest co-host conversation for the podcast, what better than to interview someone who I consider to be a brother to me since stepping foot on the campus of Fort Valley State University.

Meet Demar Richards, a Junior Biology major with a concentration in Health Sciences from the city of Conyers, Georgia who has truly made his mark on campus and has much more to accomplish. Since being a wildcat, he has stepped into many rooms as a member and mentor for the AAMI Boys to Men organization, Student Government Association Senator, 2024-2025 Executive Secretary under the C.U.L.T.U.R.E Administration, and a Spring 24 initiate of the largest African American fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Gamma Zeta chapter. Beyond his roles, lies a sweet individual who is willing to show his love for people and dedication to creating a sense of community that allows anyone who steps foot in any environment to feel welcomed and supported. In today’s conversation, learn from Demar his story before his tenure as a Wildcat, what is means to be a leader in his community, and so much more that he has to offer through his own version of “A Gentleman’s Code”.
