A proposito di questo titolo

The Penny podcast is for creatives, technologists and disrupters. It is where entrepreneurs share their stories about their business craft. Join us for some inspirational thinking and doing. From initial concept, to devising sustainable business models, building community, and keeping the lights on, everything is up for discussion. We delve into the structures, systems and disciplines entrepreneurs have had to put in place to underpin the big idea. We ask how they navigate the world we live in today, where the workplace is more concept than bricks and mortar. What rituals do they use to keep in the flow and how does creative practice support this? History: Originally created for the Goldsmiths University Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship Master’s degree students. It began during the pandemic as a platform for these entrepreneurs to document their creative process, discuss their business ideas and the impact of a crazy moment in history on the creative industries. It has now expanded to include a broader church of entrepreneurs and startups both in and outside the academic space.Copyright 2020 All rights reserved. • Inside a fintech startup: Pierre-Yves Rahari talks about digitalising investment management
    Nov 21 2024

The Penny podcast is where creatives, technologists and disrupters share their exciting and inspiring journeys.

In this episode, we're delighted to bring you the story behind a disruptive fintech as we talk with our guest, fintech entrepreneur Pierre-Yves Rahari.

Following a successful career in Investment management and setting up a consultancy firm, Pierre-Yves is now the Director and Co-founder of A-Lab Solutions, along with Luuk Jacobs. Together they have brought the Reseo eBusiness ID solution, which is a digital passport for corporate investors, to the market.

Reseo aims to resolve the numerous issues of onboarding investment clients which include putting them through the rigmarole of validating their credentials and anti-money laundering checks, aka the AML-KYC process. While this kind of rigour is necessary, Pierre-Yves believes it’s time to do away with paper and digitalise the process. This in itself creates numerous benefits such as saving a great deal of time and effort and expediting new investments.

We talk about the business of doing business, and how his creative pursuits and psychology training are brought to bear in managing the startup, and all the challenges the business faces as a disrupter in the market on a mission to move the digital dial in the industry.

Follow Reseo on LinkedIn and website reseo.global – you can connect with Pierre-Yves on LinkedIn here.

    Thank you for listening!
