  • 1013. Sovereignty and Dogs (Exodus 11:4-9) | Paul Tripp’s 5-Minute Bible Study

Today, we continue our year-long Bible study in the book of Exodus, The Gospel: One Rescue at a Time. In this episode, Paul opens Exodus 11 to show how God’s absolute sovereignty in the final plague reveals his ability to faithfully keep every one of his redeemed people.

  • 1012. The Blessings and Danger of Anger (Part 1) | The Connecting Podcast Ep. 050
    Jan 3 2026
When was the last time you got angry? Why did you get angry? Who were you angry with? What was the fruit of that anger?

We experience anger every day, but not all anger is wrong—and not all anger should be resisted. In this Connecting Podcast, Paul and Shelby Abbott begin an extended conversation on the blessings and dangers of anger.

Anger, while not listed as a fruit of the Spirit, can be a righteous, God-honoring response. Our God is filled with holy anger, and as his image-bearers, we are called to reflect his character.

That means we have the capacity for godly anger, and there are real blessings that can come with it. But sin has corrupted our hearts, giving us an equally real capacity to twist something good into something destructive. What begins as righteous anger can quickly become selfish and harmful.

The Bible is shockingly honest about anger, and Paul and Shelby are here to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to our everyday lives as they explore both the blessings and the dangers of anger.

  • 1010. The Beauty and Power of Unforgiveness | Grace & Knowledge
    Jan 1 2026
On the first day of each month, we release Grace & Knowledge, a more in-depth article from Paul that allows him to expand on biblical truths beyond his weekly Wednesday’s Word.

Our prayer is that this resource helps you “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).

In this month’s Grace & Knowledge, Paul exposes the false allure of unforgiveness and calls us to remember the grace we’ve received in Christ so that we can freely cancel others’ debts through joyful, gospel-shaped forgiveness.
