Welcome to episode 54 of The Paranormal Rundown! We have a small crew this time, just Vic, David, and Randy, but we have some wide ranging discussion! Along the way we explore Evidence of an Afterlife, Purgatory and Limbo, Reincarnation and the Veil of Forgetfulness, Exploding Head Syndrome, the Animist View of Spirits of Objects, the Brain as a Receiver of Consciousness, the discoveries below the Giza Plateau, and much more. We even take on a detailed analysis of the voices Vic hears in his head at bedtime!

Samuel is an attorney, translator, and motivational speaker, with a masters degree in financial analysis from the London School of Economics. But Samuel's true passion is the paranormal! After reading The Golden Planet: Thaioouba Prophecy, by Michel Desmarquet, he had to find the author and ask the many questions that reading the book raised. Needless to say, Samuel has dedicated an enormous amount of time thinking about and researching the concepts in this book. Ep. 52 - The Paranormal Rundown welcomes Randy as a new co-host & discussion on why we do this podcast.

Welcome to episode 52 of The Paranormal Rundown! The Gang of Nerds wishes you a Very Merry Christmas!

2025 has been a year full of exciting guests, deep conversations, and a fair amount of change for the podcast. We have covered a wide range of topics, such as Bigfoot Abductions, PSI, Cryptid Clowns, Consciousness & Reality, Remote Viewing, Machine Elves, Quantum Immortality, Lycanthropy, and so much more. However, this season has not been without it's challenges, but we have kept going, trying to bring you discussions that take you way down the rabbit hole.

The biggest change this year has been in our co-hosts. Sadly, we lost JJ due to a serious lack of available time in his schedule. We have also had to soldier on without Fr. Mike several times, due to some serious health issues that we hope will be resolved over the next couple of months. But we have some great news, our repeat guest Randy has agreed to join the gang as a permanent member! This episode is all about welcoming him to the team, and then a little discussion about why we do this podcast. We think you will agree that Randy is a fantastic addition. He has some serious knowledge in science, medicine, biology, and more, and a true inquisitive love of the paranormal. As you will hear in the episode, just like every other member of the Rundown, he has his own beliefs, life experiences, and paranormal background. We love the fact that he is not a carbon copy of any of the rest of us, and we cant wait to see all of the unique ideas he brings to the show!

Now we move on to 2026. We want you to know how much we love doing this podcast. It really is a passion for each of us, one that we put a lot of time and energy into so that you can enjoy. Our goal for 2026 is to really grow our audience. We have never spent any real time promoting the show, or even asking our listeners to do so. We have lots of plans for the future, and we are looking for your help. On our side, we are looking to add video, a website, more social media interaction on X, and potentially Facebook, Discord, and other platforms. Additionally, we will be setting up polls on Spotify for each episode going forward, and asking for more feedback by email. Finally, we are rolling out Paranormal Rundown Rabbit Holes so that we can reach those who don't want to set aside 2 1/2 to 3 hours for an episode, though I am not really sure why...
