John Piper's powerful Don't Waste Your Life sermon, delivered more than 25 years ago, is going viral again, and its message is just as relevant today! In this video, Joshua Simone from Torn Curtain and The Ninety Nine Church reacts to John Piper's unforgettable sermon and explores the life-changing message of his bestselling Christian book, Don't Waste Your Life. Are Christians wasting their lives chasing the American Dream, financial security, comfortable retirement, and worldly success instead of living for Jesus Christ? We examine Piper's famous illustration about collecting seashells in retirement, the sacrifices of Christian missionaries, and the biblical call to live with eternal purpose. Drawing from Philippians 3:7–8 and Mark 8:36, we discuss why following Jesus requires surrender, sacrifice, faith, and sometimes taking risks for the Kingdom of God.

What are you living for, and will your life make a difference for eternity? In this powerful Christian message, we explore how God can use ordinary believers to accomplish extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit. Joshua shares his personal calling to ministry, his passion for missions and evangelism, and his vision for The Ninety Nine Church to reach the lost and raise up believers who will impact their families, communities, America, and the nations of the world. We also discuss why the American Church must move beyond comfortable Christianity and rediscover the Great Commission. John Piper's message challenges every Christian to stop living for temporary pleasures and start living for what matters eternally. You were created for more than simply making a living, accumulating possessions, and retiring comfortably. Don't waste your life! Live for Jesus Christ and make your life count for eternity!
