Who holds the remote to your reality?

In this episode of The Mind of Sai Marie, I sit down with tech executive and visionary author D.A. Murray to dissect the themes of her gripping novel, Dominion: Ascension.

Drawing from her high-level experience in the tech industry, D.A. offers a rare, real-world perspective on the architecture of power. We dive into a world where gender roles are flipped, and technology dictates truth, sparking a necessary conversation about the ethics of AI and how algorithms are quietly reshaping our autonomy.

This isn’t just a discussion about science fiction; it’s a raw look at the world we are building today and a reflection on what it means to stay human in a programmed age.

  • The Mark of Compliance & The Great Distortion
    Jan 14 2026

In this episode of Mind of Sai Marie, we peel back the layers of modern religious nationalism and the dangerous “just comply” narrative. We examine the tragic cases of Renee Nicole Good and Keith Porter as mirrors to the biblical warnings found in Revelation.

How did we reach a point where those claiming to follow Christ are the ones justifying the maiming and persecution of the widow, the orphan, and the foreigner? I explore the terrifying reality of becoming a “vessel of evil” through blind adherence to worldly systems, and why the “Fruit of the Spirit” is the only true litmus test for a believer in these deceptive times.

    Scriptural Annotations & References

    I. The Character of the Deceived

    * 2 Timothy 3:1-5: Describes the “terrible times” of the last days where people are “lovers of self” and “lovers of evil,” maintaining a “form of godliness” while denying the true power of Christ’s message.

    * Matthew 7:21-23: The “Depart from me” warning. Jesus makes it clear that religious rhetoric is meaningless if one’s life is characterized by “lawlessness” (the rejection of God’s law of love).

II. The Mandate of Love vs. The State

    * Matthew 22:37-40: The Greatest Commandment. Love for God and neighbor is the “hang nail” upon which all other laws and prophets rest.

    * Matthew 5-7 (The Sermon on the Mount): The core manifesto of Jesus. It stands in direct opposition to state-sponsored violence, greed, and the persecution of the vulnerable.

    * Matthew 25:31-46: The Judgment of the Nations. Salvation is tied directly to how we treat the “least of these”—specifically the hungry, the stranger (foreigner), and the prisoner.

Sai’s Newsletter is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

III. The Protection of the Vulnerable

    * Zechariah 7:10: A direct command not to oppress the widow, the orphan, the foreigner, or the poor.

    * Exodus 22:21-22: Warnings of divine wrath against those who mistreat the stranger or the fatherless.

IV. Revelation and the Spirit of the Antichrist

    * Revelation 13:11-17: Discusses the “False Prophet” who looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon. This section covers the “Mark of the Beast” and the requirement of compliance to “buy, sell, or trade.”

    * Revelation 19:11-15: The return of the Messiah with a “sharp sword” to judge the nations and those who celebrated wickedness and the deception of the Beast.

    V. The Call to Courageous Speech

    * Ecclesiastes 3:7: Reminds us that there is “a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.”

    * Matthew 16:24-25: The call to “pick up the cross.” A reminder that true discipleship involves sacrifice and potentially death in the pursuit of following Jesus’s example over worldly safety.
