The Atlanta Dream are taking control of the New York Liberty, and the Golden State Valkyries are outworking the Las Vegas Aces! Are we witnessing two major WNBA playoff upsets?

On this episode of The Mid Majors Podcast, former Division I basketball players Tacarra and Courtney break down two physical WNBA playoff battles featuring Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jordin Canada, Jackie Young, and Tiffany Hayes.

ATLANTA DREAM vs. NEW YORK LIBERTY

The Dream's balanced offense and physical defense have New York searching for answers. Jordin Canada delivered 23 points and 8 assists, while Angel Reese added 23 points and 7 rebounds. Naz Hillmon made her presence felt against Jonquel Jones, helping Atlanta control the physical battle.

Breanna Stewart exploded for 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists, but where was the rest of the Liberty? Tacarra and Courtney question Sabrina Ionescu's aggression, New York's late-game execution, and the coaching decisions that could cost the Liberty their season.

GOLDEN STATE VALKYRIES vs. LAS VEGAS ACES

The Valkyries continue to prove that effort, rebounding, and depth matter in the WNBA Playoffs. Golden State's physicality and timely contributions have put serious pressure on Las Vegas.

Tiffany Hayes provided 21 points off the bench, but the Aces still struggled to find consistent offense. Jackie Young's shot volume, Becky Hammon's rotations, and the Aces' lack of reliable scoring options all come under the microscope.

IN THIS EPISODE:

• Angel Reese and Jordin Canada lead Atlanta's balanced attack
• Breanna Stewart carries the Liberty while Sabrina Ionescu struggles
• Naz Hillmon's physical defense against Jonquel Jones
• New York's costly late-game decisions
• Golden State's toughness and bench production
• Tiffany Hayes provides a spark for Las Vegas
• Jackie Young and Becky Hammon face tough questions
• Can the Liberty and Aces respond before it's too late?
