Love is not proven by how much you can handle. It is reinforced by the limits you set. People pleasing isn’t simply ensuring someone else is happy. It’s self abandonment in pursuit of acceptance. Let’s talk about it!

So many times we try to drag people along and make them fit in our stories and lives, like universal puzzle pieces. The problem is that they don’t fit, and no amount of wanting, wishing, waiting and loving will change that. Letting people go is often how we let them GROW. Let me share a few things from my story!

How do you reconcile being independent, when your foundational relationships taught you to stay close? There’s a sense of comfort, safety and familiarity when you know people, that is very hard to give up. Letting go doesn’t always have to be about “loss” it’s about letting things become as they should without your interference (control).

We spend a lot of our lives doing things! The Right thing, Wrong thing, Successful things, Learning things. But how much of that is simply BEING? The act of “being” requires depth, insight and sometimes being still. It’s a deeper understanding of why and how you move the way you do. Let’s talk about being.

We’re taught so much about what happiness is and what it looks like. However; no one really shares the path to finding it. For a while I thought other people would help define it for me but I now realize that it comes from me. I am the happiness! This sounds simple but there’s more to it than just knowing.

Inner work is always the hardest. It’s easier to find the flaws in others and advise on a course of action but when it’s yourself, things get blurry. To accept things about how you’ve treated yourself, from yourself can be a hard pill to swallow. However; it’s necessary to be the most YOU that you will become!
