When last week's episode took an interesting segue into the wild world of mascots, Emily and RaLene were left with more questions than answers — why is everyone obsessed with Ellie the Elephant? What makes Freddy Fever so...diabolical? And what happens to mascots when their franchises bite the dust? Paired with the hankering for bracketology the two have had since March, and a brilliant idea was born: Mascot Madness, Hunger Games-style.
That's right. We made a bracket pitting the WNBA's mascots against each other. Today, Emily and RaLene go through the play-in tournament and Round 1 to see which mascots are moving on to the next level of competition. Stay tuned for Part 2 next week!
